Title: End of Possession Turn
Post by: Joseph2302 on June 16, 2014, 05:11:15 am
After you possess someone, and the turn finishes, should you be able to see their next hand? On Dominion Online you can, but was not sure if that was an error or not (I've never played Possession IRL, so not had to think about this)?

you are, and that's correct. the cleanup phase in which you draw 5 new cards is part of the prior turn

What silverspawn said.  Drawing your new hand has to happen at the end of your turn (rather than the start of your turn or during an opponent's turn) so that you have cards to discard to Militia or have a chance of blocking Witch with a Moat.

Edge case: You can't see their next hand if you're blind.

Or if their deck consists only of Duration cards and you played all of the Durations during the Possession turn. (Fishing Village-Merchant Fleet-Wharf engine, anyone?--and they got rid of their Chapel when someone else played Bishop, and haven't started greening yet)

You still see their hand.  The hand is empty.

Whoa.  Have you ever like, really looked at your hand?
