I'm sure this is in the Dark ages rulebook, but am I allowed to discard Market Square to trashing Cultist if I drew it with Cultist's on trash effect? Is this a case of what I choose to do first? I chose to the the on trash first, then chose the market Square which is now in my hand.

Yes. YSou could even disacrd a Market square first, then draw the same Market square due to Cultist's on-trash effect, and then discard it again.

Yeah, I just wasn't 100% sure when it occurred to me.

took me a moment to get the explanation, so i thought i'd just point it out for anyone who is slow like myself: both the cultist and market square benefits are on-trash effects, so the order in which these effects occur is decided by the player.
