Does anybody here tweet? I do, obviously, and it's pretty fun. I mostly follow funny accounts and people I know, and I mainly tweet funny stuff myself. But I'd be happy to follow anybody I know on here! And if you don't have an account, well I think it is pretty great, even if you just use it as a constant stream of breaking news or funny stuff.

I'm not too active and I generally only tweet my family and my boardgame club. We're encouraged to tweet about the club while we're there but I don't do it too often, but a few boardgame things might happen.

I have a Twitter account, but I don't use it. I find myself far more interesting than a mere 140 characters (though, some people may disagree with that).
So, I've never really gotten into it. I prefer forums as my medium.

I use Facebook as my social networking outlet. I update it a little too frequently, however, which makes me think I'd like Twitter more.

I don't even have Facebook.
I've found all social media to be quite unfulfilling, there's so much non-info on it.
I don't really care what my schoolmates from 20 years ago are up to now I found out.
So I have Whatsapp groups with my family and closest friends and that's about it.
I never got the appeal of Twitter. "I'm going to the toilet now!" "OK! Have fun!"

But you know what they say, restrictions breed creativity! :P
But you're right. Twitter is really for quick thoughts, soundbites, or jokes, and it can feel pretty limiting. I know a lot of people who rarely post things themselves but follow others and check twitter pretty frequently.

Yep. ;D When I first found Isotropic, I tried to use "diesel" but it was already taken. I think you know a thing or two about that. ;)

Twitter has become my social network of choice. I still use facebook all the time, but mostly for chat and groups. I used to give twitter a hard time, but there aren't any distant relatives to comment on all of my stuff on there... It's also easier to create a personal brand that's 100% sarcastic, which a lot of people just would not get on facebook.

Whatsapp sounds nice. Controlling the flow of personal info would be much easier. And people who use twitter for things like that....ugh. Just don't follow them. XD

If I had twitter, I would probably just follow StealthMountain and not do much else.

I use my twitter to follow internet celebrities now that RSS doesn't work on like half the sites I want to keep up with. It's the only way to hear about new stuff in a timely manner. I have never actually posted anything there.

I'm still figuring out what I want to use twitter for in the long run, but currently, I'm just tweeting funny stuff and trying to build a follower base that would care about having conversations about games, as well as things that are not games :p I suppose I want to use it for networking, whatever that means.
