I also just noticed the other 2 persons on the tactician art. was allways to focused on the person in the middle.

This could be a fun game, where someone describes a picture from a Dominion card, and people have to figure it out from the description, without referencing the cards.

Oh no, he's right, there are two others in that image.  They are actually in the foreground, and rather shadowy, but they are there.

It doesn't even look all that much like a human skull - it seemed a bit like an Australopithecus or early Homo to me.

Or maybe the artist just didn't go through the trouble of making it anatomically correct?  Where would a medieval European have gotten the fossilized skull of an early hominid?

Embargo and explorer both seem to fit the description, although embargo has some other boats and the explorer isn't a guy.

I like that the art for village appears in scrying pool and plunder, but ruined village is clearly based on walled village.

And since we mentioned embargo already, I have to admit it took me forever to realize that that's a line of boats forming a wall in the distance, to emphasize the blockade bit.

I can think of at least one card with dwarf-like characters...and I'm not talking about the creepy leprechaun on Festival. :)

It took me forever to realize that the embargo tokens have a super-tiny rendition of the card art on them.
