The role that Galz had in BMMM
Scum with like 4 quicktopics is just too funny
Captain_Frisk's role in RMM3
In my mind, it was the great mystery of the game and caused a lot of confusion. Faking Flavor is pretty cool too
High Priestess

A unique role that could use a tweak or two to really shine
Lawman
This Insomniac-created role was a cool hybrid Cop/Jailkeeper.
Werewolf Jack-of-All-Trades (M-VI)
Not only was it awesomely powerful, it canonized the Hider/commuter mistake--and got its owner killed when he investigated a mafia

hey, i got nominated for something!
-
Me too! I'm a little miffed there was no Insom MXII performance in best scum :P (not really)
That said there is still 7 categories to come.

Where is C_F's MXI role?!?!?!

Where is C_F's MXI role?!?!?!
Was that in your nominations?

For lawman it might be useful to see blitz 3. But essentially the reason I created the role was to make sure that follow the cop wasn't dominant (town tried it and lost to scum but there was a modkill at play) as the cop was one shot, and jailkeeper made a nice compliment to the doctor in the game.
The role is
Lawman
You have two one shot abilities you can only use one on any particular night
1-Shot Cop
1-Shot Jailkeeper
there is discussion about it in the blitz 3 mod qt and in the post game in blitz 3

I didn't nominate anything. C_F should have nominated it, himself.

Something tells me it wouldn't have won, anyway.

I voted, and not for myself. :)
CF's role in RMM3 was:
Flavour name: Jack-Knife of All Trades
Role name: 2-Shot Strongman
Alignment: Evil League of Evil
Abilities:
You’ve always been good with weapons. A nice traditional Candlestick or Lead Pipe, an unabridged copy of Moby-Dick, or even a bob-omb strapped to a man-eating Capybara -- you are able to kill just about anyone with just about anything. Thanks to your great new job with the League, you are now able to do what you enjoy most and get paid for doing it! You sure are living the dream.
You share a QT with your fellow League members here:

When you perform the League’s Night Kill, if you have any shots remaining, you may choose to make your kill unblockable (breaks through doctor protection, bulletproof, etc.).
You may always choose the flavour for your kill. For example, you may make it appear as though the target was killed by a lightsaber, or crushed by a herd of rampaging wildebeests, or simultaneously all three of “shot by a gun, stabbed by a knife and torn apart by a wolf”. You may do whatever you want so long as it is within reason (e.g. you cannot leave a note on the body implicating some other player by name).
Even when you are not performing the kill, you must choose to have at least one weapon equipped. It does not have to be a conventional weapon, though it should be at least slightly menacing or dangerous in some way. Choose your weapon now, on night 0. Note that your chosen weapon need not be used on your next kill.
If investigated by Major-General Stanley, he would have returned Animal.
If targeted by the KELPtomaniac (Thief), the Thief would steal one of the weapons he had equipped. The Thief would gain a 1-shot vig that way.
I expected the flavour manipulation to be quite powerful, but the scum team underestimated it at first. But due to a d1 town mistake, scum were able to leverage the ability to cause enormous confusion. Because of that, it ended up more powerful than I thought it would be.
