Title: A little running joke between me and theory
Post by: rrenaud on May 25, 2012, 05:10:32 pm
Every once in awhile, when he has a good idea related to X, I tell him he should run Xstrategy.com site.  When he told me how he proposed, I told him he should run ProposalStrategy.com.

But he got one upped, this dude should run DominionProposalStrategy.com.

I like that, if she decided to keep playing, it was a cantrip so it wouldn't get in the way :-)

I'm glad she forgave him for cheating on her (by secretly slipping that extra card into his hand).

TheBride plays a Bishop.
... getting +$1 and +1 ▼.
... TheBride trashes a Marriage and gets +(∞ - 1)/2  ▼.

 :'( :'( :'(

proof that playing dominion too ruthlessly can destroy a marriage.

What is the point of Bishoping it if you would get more points playing it?

Probably a Golem accident.

Wouldn't be the first time a Golem has ruined a marriage.

How is 100 more than half of infinity? :o

In a multiplayer game, or with King's Court, do you marry one of your opponents, or one three times, or all of them, and how does this go with polygamy laws?

Love the card---the only change I'd make would be to put it in the Prosperity set.   8)

(and once you've played it, the 100VP are in the bank, right?  You could still Bishop it for a total of "half-of-infinity-plus-100" VP, couldn't you?)

Surely scoring in this context is pretty surreal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surreal_number).

This should of course be extended to all values in the game.  "You may choose an Action card in your hand.  Play it ω times."

Ctrl + Shift + u -> 221E on Linux, if we are compiling a list.
