Post by: liopoil on April 30, 2016, 04:07:06 pm
Playerlist: ( 8) means I got your submissions and they are acceptable)

Go ahead and PM me your two submissions. Submissions must:

-Not have been in rounds 1 or 2 in a similar form.
-Not already have been submitted.
-Be at most 55 characters long.

I'll make a bracket out of the submissions such that no submissions from the same person can meet until the finals. Then you'll vote on each matchup. Voting ends after 15 of the players have voted, or there have been 24 hours without a vote.

Wikipedia isn't voting, and 13 is odd, so everyone should vote. Or we can have the first 11, and I don't vote? Probably better to get as many votes as we can though.

Functional Programming still don't know what this is. Better than windows

It's a programming concept like object orientation (which is what's primarily used by most successful programming languages right now). I think it's superior by quite a lot, but it's also harder to learn and still relatively small.

Red Pandas defeat Dark Matter 7-6, fueled by cute pictures
Friends defeat functional programming 8-5
Prime Numbers defeat Fractals 7-6
Mothers defeat finding 8-5

Some close matches! Both Red pandas and Prime numbers were down 6-4. Semifinals in the next post.

That's only 11/13 votes, but:

Friends beat Red Pandas 8-3
Prime Numbers defeat Mothers 9-2

So our finals are:

Friends against Prime Numbers

Which were in fact submitted by two different people.

His was originally too long, so I came up with the final version (exactly 55 characters)

Friends are winning 6-4 right now, not counting Seprix's picture which I don't understand. Is it supposed to be a vote for prime numbers?

The picture was the worst Metroid Prime game ever made. I was saying Prime numbers in a weird way.

Why is Yuma gone?

It's an ongoing game. You can read about what happened if you look at Yuma's posts, but I don't think I can talk details outside of the game before it is over.

I'm guessing there won't be a Bracket Wars 4. If there is, count me in, but I just think the Bracket Fad has waned completely. I don't even think it's an f.ds meme anymore. It'll be a nice meme 6 months down the road when everyone forgets about it though, so I'll hold onto it.
