Title: Does Prince remain set aside?
Post by: silverspawn on October 26, 2014, 06:45:15 am
If I Prince an Action card, and at the end of the game, I have 18 cards in my deck, not counting Prince + the card set aside. Are gardens worth 1VP or 2VP?

Same thing than with haven, if the game ends while you had a haven in play.

EDIT: to be more clear, set aside cards are still considered to be in your deck for all purposes. The reminders on Island and Native Village are technically unnecessary, IIRC.

okay, I was actually about 80% sure that they wouldn't count, mostly because native village says "return them to your deck at the end of the game,"  and prince doesn't.

My reasoning was "all else is madness", so I find it interesting to hear that you guessed it would go the other way.

Yes. The reminders on Island and Native Village were probably a bad idea, considering how many times this question has been asked (about Haven). Also, Horse Traders.
