This is a Bastard Game. It will frustrate you.
The flavor and roles are based on Disney (and company) movies. The game will be fast moving and fun. You should not play if winning matters.

I'm really glad to see that abbreviation has legs. It outlived my whole hiatus from the forums.

It was eerily quiet in the locked vault, hidden deep underground in Des Moines. It was the fabled Disney Vault, where they lock up all the movies for some reason. Just outside the giant vault door stood a man with fifty sticks of dynamite strapped to his chest. It was his job to ensure no one ever got into the vault.
But inside, there was something else going on. Disney is magic, and all the movies were talking to each other. It seems they didn't all trust each other, and some were worried others had created a mafia to extort money from the rest.

by the way, I lied. My power is that I have authority when I write in italic. When I write a request in Italic, everyone has to do as I say, or they will be modkilled. If the mod doesn't like my request, I will be modkilled. Also, if I lie while writing in italic, I will be modkilled. This is proof that I am telling the truth, as I am writing this in italic, but am not modkilled, so it must be the truth. My only post restriction is that, when I write in italic for the first time, I have to claim my role, which I am doing now. You don't have to believe me, but if I make a request and you don't comply, you will die. That's your problem.

The first night I investigated Faust and received "Town".
One or two nights I missed the deadline (there isn't any real thread locking here, and nights don't seem to have a fixed time.)
Last night I investigated Archetype and got "Um... not town?" (Can I quote that? I don't know if that violates a rule).
Anyway, I don't have a guarantee that my results are honest from the mod (go back to my statement about having no worries about Faust but worries about Ashersky), but I also have no reason to believe that the results are wrong rather than correct.

I also didn't realize I had a posting restriction because I didn't read all of the PM (over email on my phone). But I thought it would be funny since I was The Lion King that I could only make noises (like rawr). I hadn't decided if I would ever say anything or not.

Lady and the Tramp was hard, you'd really have to know the movie well to catch it. Tramp calls Lady "Pidge" throughout the movie (short for Pigeon). If he had lived longer, he also had to use the We are Siamese song.

I did it once while still alive, and another time with the shifted thing. That was another reason you couldn't guess my flavor - I faked a posting restriction.
