Title: Dominion Strategy Championschips
Post by: Leo1997 on January 03, 2014, 02:00:37 pm
There was the idea to organize a Dominion Strategy Championschip 2014, like the Championschips 2011 and 2012. I think its a good idea, cause its another tournement and another chance for all players to take part in a tournament.

I thought about a one against one play off bracket.

What are your thinkings about that?
Some one would say: The Gokodom tournament is great ? Why we need another? But I say: In Tennis, Darts, and Co we have more tournaments? Why not in Dominion?

Well, with live tournaments all of the players are in the same location at the same time, that makes it easier.

And whole organizations take the time to manage them.

Both are a bigger challenge with online Dominion.

I think live tournaments are not a good idea. Its to expensive to drive to the location, etc.

I think about a tournament about 256 players, like the last.

Maybe the " Last 16" could be a live tournament?

Well, what I meant was: Online tournaments can be challenging to organize and play, which is why it doesn't happen that often.
