I'm making a thread dedicated to your high score in Dominion. There may already be a thread for this, but I'll start:
Earlier today I crushed my mom in a two player game. I got a Champion, then drew my deck with Hunting Grounds, played Bandit Camps, Peddlers and Foragers for payload, then delivered crushing blows with six Goons and some Bridges. I could've had more than my 207 points, but I just wanted to end it because I felt bad for my opponent. She finished with 11 points. She's a good sport.

Yeah, Goons can be crazy, we all know that. :D
What's everyone's record in a non-Goons game? I remember getting 99 points with Feodum once. My opponent went for Beggar/Gardens and scored around 70-ish.
-
Do we know what the highest combined score is?

I got like 150ish in a Bishop/Fortress game, although I could have scored more if I hadn't ended the game.

In this game (http://gokosalvager.com:6080/logsearch?p1name=singletee&p1score=any&p2name=monsieur+x&startdate=08%2F09%2F2015&enddate=08%2F09%2F2015&supply=&nonsupply=&rating=pro%2B&pcount=2&colony=any&bot=false&shelters=any&guest=false&minturns=&maxturns=&quit=false&resign=any&limit=20&submitted=true&offset=0) I won 74-56 in 16 turns. No Goons involved. It's a good Kingdom; every card except Spy is potentially useful.
(Provinces / Shelters - Bishop, Grand Market, Herald, Island, Peddler, Rats, Scavenger, Shanty Town, Spy, Scheme)
In this one (http://gokosalvager.com:6080/logsearch?p1name=singletee&p1score=any&p2name=whiterabbit1981&startdate=08%2F05%2F2012&enddate=01%2F24%2F2016&supply=feodum&nonsupply=&rating=pro%2B&pcount=2&colony=any&bot=false&shelters=any&guest=false&minturns=&maxturns=&quit=false&resign=any&limit=20&submitted=true&offset=0) I lost 106-43 trying to build a megaturn engine against JoAT/Feodum.
(Provinces / Estates - Armory, Bandit Camp, Catacombs, Feodum, Grand Market, Highway, JackOfAllTrades, Masterpiece, Smithy, Loan)
-
I remember playing a very silly goons game where I won by <10 points and we both had over 100 points. I think it was a designed kingdom though.
-
I played a game once against someone who had designed a kingdom to be especially high-powered (Chapel, Goons, King's Court, etc.). I hit the megaturn first and had exactly enough buys to take all the Victory cards in the supply.
-
Record for most coins in a single buy phase (in a competitive game -- not a solo game or anything)?

I wonder what the record for the longest game is, either in number of turns or in time. Or the lowest amount of VP the winner has without a resign (could theoretically be -5). Or the largest deck. Or largest comeback in VP.
-
I think games with all human players where all people were trying to win the entire time is a good rule for this kind of thing.
The one thing I have to contribute to this thread is this game with Qvist (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QkPRXlV89Y), which is, by turns, the shortest game of Dominion I've ever heard of with these constraints. It was 7.5 turns.
I apologize in advance for eating popcorn while playing. It hasn't happened since.

In 2-player, yes. In multiplayer:
3 players: -6
4 players: -7
5 players: -8
6 players: -8
n players: -floor(10-10/n)

Can't top that, though in the first two games (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wff9AjhTw8) I posted to YouTube yesterday (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90OXI6hXCH4), they BOTH ended before the end of the 9th turn...

Is there a way to find your own record on Salvager or something? I don't have a good memory of my best scores.
Some personal mini-records caught on stream:
Does winning 2 games at once count? (http://www.twitch.tv/elatalkstoherself/v/18896408)
Most valuable Fairgrounds (12) (http://www.twitch.tv/elatalkstoherself/c/6815607)
Most turns (40) (http://www.twitch.tv/elatalkstoherself/c/6639704)
Most Copper in play (15) (http://www.twitch.tv/elatalkstoherself/c/5775631)
Most Curses gained/trashed in one turn (10) (http://www.twitch.tv/elatalkstoherself/c/5918530)
Most times being Possessed in a row without King's Court (4) (http://www.twitch.tv/hugovj/c/6624461)
There was also one game when I trumped someone's quintuple-Province turn but the video somehow got deleted.
Edit: I looked around and found a game where I had 157 points - I think that might be my record.
-
Or largest comeback in VP.
37?

Yesterday, I won two games in a row scoring exactly 0 points.
-
Let me guess: you were 2nd player and the 1st player timed out, leaving you to win on number of turns. :)

No. I won both games. No time outs or resignations. Also, the kingdoms were full random.

Played 2p game against my brother irl. Had 37 coppers in hand worth 10 each for a total of 370 coins. I bought 5 colonies and 4 provinces.

I wonder what the most valuable a Diadem has ever been. Or a Fairgrounds.
I was on my way for huge Fairgrounds here:
http://gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?http://dominion-game-logs.s3.amazonaws.com/game_logs/20160416/log.0.1460775161810.txt
but opponent resigned. Black Market, Young Witch, Tournament, Ruins, Urchin, Potion, Spoils, Shelters, ...
-
I just played a game where I had a 12-point Fairgrounds at the end. It was a Black Market Colony game where I also cleaned out the tournament prize deck, purchased everything available in the set and all but 6 cards in the BM deck were sold at the end. Luckily my gracious opponent stayed in.

Orange, could I request that you don't post entire logs directly into the thread at full size? They're pretty frustrating to scroll through. You could either snip out to just the bits that are important, post a link to the log, or significantly drop the font size.
Anyway, I was curious with the new Empires landmarks what the new lowest score you could have and still theoretically win with is. Bandit Fort and Wall let both players go really negative.
-
I was going to have a 116 point City Megaturn, but my opponent 3 piled and beat me :-[.
I just had a turn when I got 8 provinces and a Duchy to end the game. Me opponent ended with -4 due to Mountebank.

Okay I will edit.

Just saw a player finish game with -20 VP. They got 10 Curses and there was Wall.

Not exceptionally negative, but Mountebank + Catapult/Rocks + Bandit Fort produced a -4 to -7 victory for me just now.

Most points, single buy: 67. 5 Horns of Plenty with 11+ different cards in play nets 5 colonies. Single purchase is Grand Castle (5) with +12 VP for victory cards in hand/play (6 nobles, sprawling castle, pasture, and 4 misc victory cards).

All the HoP/Colony points come before you buy anything. And you would have gotten those points even if you had chosen not to buy anything.

That's a fun thing in vs. AI games... try to empty out most, if not ALL the piles!

Parameters? Pile of 25? 50? 75? E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G?
Even if the latter most, I know some players will take it as a challenge :D
