Oh oh oh I forgot to mention that a couple of weeks ago I tried Lindemans fruit beers. I had peach, apple, and cherry (Peche, Pomme, Kriek) and they were all so delicious. Among the first beers that I've really enjoyed. Sure, they tasted more like fruit sodas than beer, but hops aren't for everyone I guess.

Also had a delicious shot of honey whiskey that night, yummmm.

That stuff does not make me happy.  Try some of the good whisky; Larceny, Basil Hayden's, Blanton's.

Although I am testing some Apply Pie Moonshine (by Midnight Moon) right now; it's crazy, but I think I don't mind.  Jury's still out.

That's a sparkling Rose. Carbonation, IMO, should be reserved for beer and real champagne. Rose, in general, is shitty wine (I mean, seriously, it's not like it's a varietal, it just means they left some skins in or it's a blend because 1 varietal wasn't good enough to stand on its own). A sparkling rose should be reserved for seriously hot days and women... all my own opinion. A Sparkling Rose would be about the last thing I would give to the person I was introducing to wine.


Edit to note that Rose, in America, tends to be shitty. French and Italian Rose can be quite good, especially with food. The classic American Rose is Sutter Home White Zinfandel, if that tells you anything. Even then, they are not carbonated for god's sake.
