BoardGameGeek Microbadges

theory:
If you check your BoardGameGeek PMs, you all should have coupons for new microbadges.  Why not show off a couple of these DominionStrategy microbadges, designed by our very own Matt Arnold?

Intended for those who competed, but you know, no one's really going to discipline you if you didn't actually compete in the tournament but bought the badge anyway.  Like rrenaud and me.

So I don't post all that often on BoardGameGeek, though I do use it to list all the games that I own. Anyway, what's the deal with Microbadges and Geek Gold? I Couldn't find any mention of it in the FAQ. As far as I can tell, I have no Geek Gold (and I didn't see a coupon for DominionStrategy; do I need to link you to my account?)

theory:
There should be a PM in your GeekMail inbox titled "Happy Holidays" or something.  It contains coupons for three free microbadges.

If you don't have those coupons, and also don't have GeekGold, you can PM me on the forum (I'm also 'theory' there) and I'll be happy to gift you the 8 or 16 GG you need to buy the badge(s).

Thanks! I just found the details about GeekGold and Microbadges on the site; and it looks like I do have the Happy Holidays coupons. Sadly, I've received several coupons in past years that I never knew about and are now expired!

Huh, I guess they don't send the coupons to everyone?  I've never sent or received a PM at BGG.  Ah well.

I post there almost never since the loss of BGGDL, though, so I'm not really worried about badges.
