OK well so here is where we are at. They need 3 more. They could have some overlap I suppose... maybe. Whatever, the point is, if we guess one of their words, all faust has to do is string together 2 words, so that is GG. We still are not looking great even if we do not hit a word imo... but hitting there word ends it. So I say we play for the win.
Also... just realized that we need 3 and they hinted 3. So, I had this whole thing typed up about overlaps... but if there were overlaps they could of just hinted a 2... so pretty much just looking at our remaining 2 stamp words.
SCALE - absolute favorite. for the reasons you listed.
I think words that are 100% off the table are - SHOT, CASINO, COFFEE, LEMON, CANDLE (I changed my mind on candle).
That leaves the remaining words of - TURKEY, WELL, PALM, SQUARE, TEACHER, BREAD
TURKEY, SQUARE - Pasta is sharp cookie. Stamp has... multiple meanings. They could of easily gone "package" or "parcel" or something like that. We still would of got post and scale (assuming correct).... and it would remove the other words off the table.
So yeah this is all based on the idea that SCALE is gonna be correct... but I wanna remove Turkey and Square for now, or at least discuss it. That leaves....
WELL - like an ink well that you have to dip stamps into.
PALM - use your palm to press down... kind of a similar mindset to well.
TEACHER - teacher grades papers with stamps all the time, I think this is a really potential good guess.
BREAD - I have recently discovered that when you stamp a company logo onto a block of ice, the tool is called an "ice stamp". Fancy bakeries often stamp their logo onto their product, I would assume that is called a Bread Stamp... but I will give you that is a reach.
So I guess it is 2/3 Scale, Well, Teacher. I guess I lean Scale... but honestly if you are good with choosing from those 3 I really don't know which I would like best last.
** final thought while I am thinking out loud.... If we go Scale, and are correct.... then I think we go WELL. A realllly good clue for POST-SCALE-TEACHER would of been "GRADES" (teacher because... teacher, Teachers post grades, and teachers often "scale" grades of a class). Might be over thinking it... but I think that means I like Scale -> Well.
