Not a RVs- I'm just voting against someone who wants to drag the game back into RVs

In a game with this many scum, the best uninformed vote is against someone whose scum game is significantly better than their town game.

Robz has a 5/12 chance of being scum. Those are pretty good odds and I would pretty much always choose to lynch him with those odds.

Also, Hi Robz. This is our first game together.  I'm town and right now my goal is to get ya.

The purpose of this post was to push us past RVS a little faster by introducing the idea that maybe the meta-reasons that we would choose to lynch someone would change based on the high number of scum. Basically, cut the crap and move us straight to theory talk.

I was actively following the thread and interested in the people who had decided to vote for me, curious which ones were scum, and wanted people to know that. I didn't, however, want to share my conclusions, as Awaclus has taught me that it's not always a good thing to play all your cards at once.

Some people didn't understand why Faust was suspecting the people doing VT claims early. The reason is because we are not Vanilla Town, but Team loVe. I thought it would be clever and perhaps jog a town person's memory if I claimed TV instead of VT.

You accuse me of wanting to drag the game back into RVS, and I accuse you of not understanding the purpose of my posts.

Well it doesn't say "VT" anywhere in the role PM. Town is more likely to point that out than scum. The people who claimed could have pointed it out, but didn't and are more likely scum. Apart from that it's just scummy empty posting when you could do something useful.

You don't seriously believe any of that do you ? People didn't point it out because there's nothing to point out. I'm sure I can dig up games in which you've claimed VT despite having a PM that said something else because of flavor. Scum is more likely than town to read the setup, and more likely to generally pay attention to small details (not you, to be clear, you'd notice that as either alignment, I mean people in general).

It's not my standards it doesn't meet, because that really doesn't matter, it's yours. You're just throwing cheap suspicion around for people participating in a silly plan as part of RVS, which... I mean I don't like RVS, but I think we can agree it's not alignment-indicative. What is alignment indicative is you wanting to artificially appear townie by getting us out of RVS.

Any suspicion is cheap at the level of the game we are currently at. I don't know what else you expect. The point is that the setup here is super simple and is some townie bothered to participate in the exercise from Reggie, he's more likely to do a joking "I'm not actually a VT" kind of post, or ignore it altogether because it's getting us nowhere, than to claim VT.
