POST#124 - Cayvie saying wtf to pubby's vote.
i don't follow what just happened here.
POST#128 - MiX responding to Skip regarding WCD soft claim.
My role is complicated and has lots of moving parts, but not super powerful. (Again, kind of like my life...)
I like this softclaim. Like, not in the sense that I think it's pro-town necessarily; like, in the sense that it strikes me as true and makes me lean town on wcd.
Townpoints for skip as that's exactly what I thought.
POST#156 - MiX states they understand and approve the Cayvie vote from Pubby. Then votes Eddie. Also, then low key points out pubby is taking meta skummy actions after backing their vote? It think?
vote: cayvie
vote: pubby
No, this is a good reason to vote cayvie. Scumpoints.
vote: cayvie
vote: pubby
This is pretty much where I’m at. Pubby and Faust both seem a bit off, although I can almost guarantee that there is at least one baddie who is defending a “townier” person.
MiX, for example.
Vote: Pubby
No, not really.
Vote: Uncle, who am I defending?
vote: Uncleeurope
I can get behind this
vote: Uncleeurope
Lol skip's town, have fun being NKd, that's an honor!
Aha so I actually just thought of a way that the softclaim could be scummy, but it's pretty remote. Could you explain why you think it deserves a vote?
Because other people went ahead and partial/softclaimed, and Didds seemed willing to join that crowd for the towncred.
Also, she hasn't revealed anything beyond her role not being super powerful, so all the claim does is help scum. There is nothing in there to hold her accountable when she does claim later on.
Alright.
I thought the "complicated and lots of moving parts" part was a semi-concrete thing that any later claim would have to fit with. Moving parts that make sense with the rest of the setup and are therefore believable are hard to fake, or at least that was my thought.
This except with much less doubt over it's truthfulness than either of you.
I already revealed my role but nobody took notice.
I saw it, there's just no reason to point it out.
Also last time you claimed like that you were scum doing some insane fakeclaim.
POST#159 - random mix post about another player.
Okay, where is Galzria??
Gone! Is he in this game? I think Galz kurking here is NAI, besides my vote's in a better place.
Why do you want him here?
... and then I will save space and stop quoting. There are also posts #161, 163 which are of other topics. then..
"No, not really" is about your reads on pubby and faust, you established that after the post for which I voted you, your behavior says you're town.
Vote: E, "I need to know everyone's reads, gimme them please".
... then galz posts the novel and votes for Cayvie. Then MailMi follows to Cayvie. Cayvie then responds in #201 and then...
POST # 202 - MiX votes for Cayvie
hi galz! i feel like this reputation i've somehow garnered of "literally on point with nearly everything" is both inaccurate and unhelpful for me (you'd think i'd, like, win games ever if i was that good), and yet it's not the first time i've heard it. i don't like it, and it also feels futile to fight it; what am i supposed to do, make intentional mistakes? pay less attention?
i had legitimately not put it together that the wincon was different from normal until faust pointed it out; i assumed it was just an equivalent phrasing for the normal wincon and not put much thought into it.
and while it is true that it is unusual for me to claim quickly/unprompted (have I ever partially claimed d1 before? i don't think so), i did claim quickly at the start of d2 in BM29, which you were in (if dead at the time). i claimed here bc my role is verging on bastard territory and is likely to make me look bad if i use it. so i figure maybe it'd be more helpful to be public about that ahead of time? and also because the conversation was lagging, and i felt like i didn't have anything to talk about.
To live up to the reputation, just play better as town, not worse as scum. But you're scum, so you can't do the first one, right? I understand, I remember when I got scum after my first game and it was incredibly hard to get a motivation to improve my play.
Vote: cayvie
So I lied I am gonna throw a vote down.
Vote: MiXCayvie posts the response about not seeing the town win con prior to anything in the quotes above. In post #124 MiX finds Cayvie skummy for a different thing. Then over the course of the next half the game, MiX moves their votes from *not Cayvie* to *not Cayvie* to *not Cayvie*. Then Galz posts up the thing, Mail Mi jumps on board, and all of a sudden Cayvie is worth the vote? I will concede MiX is MiX and def throws the votes around a lot, so that is kind of NAI. But going 80 game posts, several vote changes and like 10 other responses without wanting to point this out - that is strange.
Kind of a compliment to MiX's game I suppose in the same way Galz's case was to Cayvie - I don't think MiX waits on a case if they have one, and I def don't think they needed Galz to summarize the cayvie case to the extent they did in order to piece it together.
TLDR - MiX throws suspicion around and then ends up on a convenient wagon in a convenient spot.
That was long. sorry.
