The last one is tough... I feel like I should learn something from the fact that you didn't choose church as the clue. Part of me just wants to auto-guess tuba.

Well I don't know... but I seem to remember that the church has its own jurisdiction. Which would be held in ecclesiastical Courts.

I think I used that same clue before!

I see a couple things that seem loosely connected to this clue... I'll gather my thoughts.

Scientist has a sort of general connection to both the chemical element and the planet.
Iron is a metal like Mercury.
Centaur has a general mythology connection.
Vacuum is a space-related clue.
The Aztecs were into astronomy.

Okay, so definitely Mercury was chosen because of its multiple meanings. We won't get something like Scienist/Vacuum/Aztec which would all relate to the astronomy angle. The Centaur connection is weak. I can't off the top of my head recall a prominent centaur in Greek mythology, though they probably exist.

So...

Iron -> Vacuum -> Scientist (-> Pass)
