Okay, the most likely situation we have is that someone is Caitlin Frost: https://www.quicktopic.com/52/H/QXSakdmLSXLGn

So we maybe have a mafia traitor, who can freeze people at night in addition to the mafia NK, and if the mafia team targets them with a NK, they will join the mafia QT and lose their ability to freeze people. This also would mean that mafia proper has a NK of their own and didn't use it or got blocked or something.

If someone stays frozen for a day and a half, they will die. There may or may not be a way to unfreeze them. In Flash Mafia, there was Leonard Snart: https://www.quicktopic.com/52/H/KmsHaVFiXuat. He was a combo of an anti-freeze doctor and suicide vigilante. Would Faust bring both characters over wholesale?

Maybe the person with flint should try to make a fire around Ashersky? lol
This also means scum-body (the traitor) thinks ash is towny.  I don't know what that means for us.  I had ash down as fairly towny too.
Wait no, hold on - would the traitor know who the scum are, do we think?

I did an overnight reread of D1 and took some notes in my QT. I am going to post a paraphrase but I want to wait for mod-confirm that I can do that.

Why bother even posting this here? Like, this post serves no purpose.

Just post stuff and don't go and advertise how much work you did in your qt.

Caitlin Frost did not know mafia and mafia did not know Caitlin Frost in Flash mafia. Frost had the ability to give up their powers to join the mafia QT. If the mafia tried to NK Caitlin, then Caitlin joined the QT and did not die. But those exact mechanics may change via Faust's blue text.

OK.  So if it's exactly ported, then that COULD be another explanation for the lack of a kill.   But ss has (partially) claimed responsibility there.

I may also be responsible for the lack of a death last night.

Also, I can confirm (fwiw) that PPS did have the stick yesterday, and it was (at the time), not broken. I know that seems obvious, but still.

I would like to full claim (myself only, not everyone), but I think we should draft order claim first. That said, I would like 2.7 to take lead on this.

2.7, thoughts?

On a more serious note, I continue to advocate for draft order mass claim. Claiming slots and stuff can give scum some info, but I don't think they learn anything useful if it's just the draft order and nothing else.

Here are my overnight thoughts:

So I took some notes over the night on D1 and I am going to paraphrase.
1) I found 226 by Ash scummy for deflecting from the PPS lynch. My theory is that mafia would initially deflect from the PPS lynch because they have reason to think he is more likely to be telling the truth.
2) I found 227 by Haddock scummy for the same reason. But moreso.
3) Then I saw a post (which I didn't mark) that made me think scum on WW for the same reason. Then I started to think maybe I was zero-ing in too much on one thing, and I should reconsider which of those three I'm most likely to be wrong about.
4) Saw some towny stuff from WW and scummy stuff from Datswan and scummy stuff from silver and ended up with a scum list of: Datswan, haddock, Ash, silver, in that order. Today I think ash and silver look less scummy for a) being frozen and b) thinking they could block the mafia NK.
5) Realized that Awaclus' only contributions have been in relation to talking about his miller T-shirt and how he thought bidding worked. He even framed himself to be able to do that in his first post about claiming. Seems scummy - like he created something for him to talk about in the game. Added him to the scum list.
6) Got mixed reactions from Ash's late day posts. I noted that I agree with 454 that we should look back at silver's PPS stuff because it's all a bit weird.

Haddock and Datswan are still my best leads for scum I think.

I'm fine claiming item draft order.

Literally none of those three sentences are true. Besides, you should know that that's not how I play scum.
