I don't get it.

Playing online?  Doing things that take a bit more time to resolve so that he can slow roll?

Replying to yourself would be more effective on an anonymous board.  ::)

The Random Stuff thread is probably closer, though.

Barring edge-cases that also applies to Ruins (Farming Village/Wandering Minstrel/Golem), scout isn't worse than curse. And +$2 for $3 is as legit as gaining a gold for $5. So it's just a soothsayer-like, and nobody complains nor makes memes about Soothsayer (I made a little meme, once).

Chocolate is like victory points in Dominion. Both taste good but they'll hurt you if you eat too much of it instead of something else in your early days.

Yeah, that's sort of the point of First World Problems.  She is quite fortunate to have the Swindler hit her Fortress, and yet she is complaining about the (potentially) minor inconvenience of receiving a Scout.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

How is that bad luck Brian? I don't get how it's bad if those two come up on the board.

He can never open double TM and collide, but for his opponent, he would get 4 Golds turn 3

What? He pays $4 for a Treasure map turn 1, then $3 plus coin for another turn 2, then turn 3 he lucks out and collides them. How is it even related to the fact that he started a game or not?
