I'm at a loss how you could think I'm more likely scum than Awaclus. Have we been playing the same game?

mh. So with the doctor dead, we do want an odd number of players. We now have one mislynch left.

This means that we should not lynch lovers. An extra town death costs us our potential mislynch.

It's not a hard and fast rule. If our two top suspects at the end of the day turn out to be lovers, it might be correct to lynch them. Obviously we'd need one of them to be scum, otherwise we would instalose, but if they're both townies we'd have lost even if they were nonlovers I guess so who cares.

...

Not got a lot of time at the moment, going to collect my thoughts some more tomorrow evening. Gonna leave a couple things here for now.
Iguana's my strongest townie read. This goes back to his small outburst near the end of day one, when he said he was replacing out. Short version is I know what caused it: something I said in our qt and then went back on. He was obviously frustrated by it but I think that frustration stems from a townie mindset.
The other big one is RR. There's a few reasons I don't want to lynch him, the most prominent being his decision to not vote Seprix yesterday. Given the situation, I think scum-RR would clearly want to vote for Seprix there, but he doesn't (and I suspect that RR is not the type of player to gambit as scum in those situations). I also requested Joseph last night so I could have some modicum of control over his vote which I figured he would place on RR.

Yes, yes, of course not. But the drawback is greater than usually. One town death is really as bad as two town deaths at this point.

My frustration stemmed (and I'm still frustrated about it, just a lot more apathetic now) from the fact that you kept saying I wasn't ever going to vote with you, and that your vote wouldn't count on anyone but Haddock, when in fact I was totally happy to vote for any of your scumreads and completely bend over backwards to vote for almost anyone you wanted.

I wish I could say the same for you - that it comes from a townie mindset - but my experience is that this way of style of play comes from scum more often than not and at this point the PoE doesn't exactly look great for you.

That seems like it is still pretty good for us.
How is that good? We're 2 mislynches away from losing.

Do not waste your mislynch. I am town!
Highly doubt that.

I'll get to re-reading this game on Tuesday and then the two scum are going to die.
This'll only happen today if they're lovers in the same QT.
And I doubt scum would pick the same QT, for exactly this reason.
There's no need for them to take such a big gamble.

Iguana was sitting alone, and the others were partnered as follows:

Joseph - ced
gkrieg - silverspawn
Roadrunner - Awaclus

So if both scum aren't in a QT together (which is my assumption above), then that means that RR & Awaclus aren't both scum. Interesting.

I still like Vote: RR still.
If you're town, them I'm going to be seriously bemused.

Except that I said that like once and in reaction to posts like 654, which I read as you going harder on the guy I said I would probably vote for.

Plus he's scum as well.

Maybe he'll tell you who he's going to kill tonight (if he's still alive).

While it is true that we are two mislynches away from losing, I think we have a reasonably high chance of finding scum.

I don't think that you are scum, and I reasonably trust ss right now.  So because there are 3 people in 7, that's pretty good.

I also am much more confident that ced and iguana are town, so that really just leaves RR and Awaclus.

Although I have a theory about iguana, but it is a guess what people are doing IRL theory, so I don't really like it.

My theory is that iguana didn't leave the game when he couldn't sub out because his scum partner convinced him not to.  It would've also ruined the game because if scum were lynched D1 and then one was modkilled D2, it would be extremely difficult for the last scum to win.

So I guess my theory is that because ADK was modkilled so easily and iguana wasn't, iguana might be scum

I requested a sub. EFHW couldn't find one. She told me I'd be modkilled since she couldn't find one. I felt sorry for the towns and decided to stay in the game, so EFHW didn't kill me. The same exact thing happened with ADK, except ADK didn't care about us and left us all for dead. ADK also has much prettier hair than me, and whatever social life he's experiencing is most likely substantially more exciting than mine, so I kind of understand.

Who did people request, by the way?

Haddock.

Faust had said something about picking the scummiest person, and I was feeling contrary and didn't want my vote not to count today, so I requested who I at the time felt was the towniest person and the person who agreed with my reads the most.

I felt really good about my odds of getting partnered with Haddock because I requested him 3 hours before the day was over and told EFHW I wouldn't be able to request him during the night because I was working and wouldn't have computer access. She said she'd honor the request. I didn't really think about the possibility that he'd just get killed at night.

Anyway I share this story because it is part of my narrative as a townie and evidence that I am in fact town. Obviously, I could be lying about them. Such is the nature of this wretched game.

You probably don't want to say your hair is as good as mine. But I think you're close to ADK, he doesn't have a clear edge over you IMO.
