I just had the most ridiculous game of werewolf IRL earlier today. It involved no deaths until night 4 due to me as the alien (effectively jailkeeper who lets people know they've been targetted) managing to hit the werewolf target twice and there being a no lynch every day and no kill night 1. This combined with a seer who managed to investigate everyone that wasn't a werewolf and thus getting an innocent on every night, let many people to believe the game was a troll game with no wolves. Even more fun - the first death was a generic villager, leading that villager to STILL believe it was a troll game of 8 villagers, with the mod throwing a single kill in for chaos.
Good fun. We won shortly after - the seer helped a lot of course, and we lynched a werewolf on day 4 and the other on day 5.
Back in the summer, I was in a tense game of Mafia. IIRC there was a cop, no doctor, 3 mafia. I was one of them. We ended up lynching Mafia on the first day because she made a really huge slip up. She became one of the targets of suspicion and got flustered enough to fakeclaim cop. Most people started backing off (partially led by me, of course) but some were still doubtful so she tried to bolster her claim by giving a cop result -- she investigated that person and found her to be a regular townie. Except... it was the first day. No night yet, thus no chance of an investigation at all. Obvious lie, easy lynch.
Mafia was on the backfoot from then on. I can't remember if the cop got a positive result before being eliminated, but I did have to vote against my remaining partner at one point. But I managed to talk my way out of some sticky situations. I managed to sway the deciding vote to my side to keep myself in the game, and then I chose to target
her rather than either of the people who had been against me. And then I used
that to turn one of those doubters against the other, for the win. It was easily the best performance I'd ever had in a Mafia game.
