So I might be able to start say September or October?  If someone else is willing to co-mod, we can start planning things out/thinking up challenges.

I imagine it would start around late August or September, around the time the next Survivor season premieres.

so signups start mid-late july?

I think I should be able to /in this time.  I wanted to play last season but just didn't have good availability those first few months.

I'll make sure the game doesn't start without you  ;D

Oh yeah, I have a link to your confessional this season!

Alright, I'll host season 3, with sudgy as the lead puzzle engineer.  If anyone else wants to co-host/has any ideas for next season, feel free to PM me

To future mods: early in the spectator thread, many people said they would be interested in playing in a season 3. It would be wise to PM them and make sure they know it will be starting soon when that becomes the case.

In any case, I'm super-excited to get another chance to play, I had so much fun in FS1 and I kinda missed actually being able to do the challenges.

I think I'll be on holiday the moment the sign-ups start. Will there be a hard limit (first come, first served) or is it possible to sign in a bit later?

Oh I'm sure we'll find space for you.  We're looking at hopefully starting when the new season of survivor starts, so September.  There will be plenty of time between signups starting and the game starting

m13 of the Pre-season Mod QT from this season has a link to some other Forum Survivor games played elsewhere. Some of them had as few as 12 people I think, and they went up to 24. IMO, Survivor works very well with up to 20 people, and I'd be pleasantly surprised if we had more than 20 people who wanted to play. In that case, I'd think we would give preference to new players over returning players, yeah?

I really, really doubt it will be an issue. Usually we need more people, not fewer. It would be up to ahoppy to decide the cut-off, obviously, but I'd say even, like, 24 people could be accommodated...

With a heavy heart, I've removed the FS2 link from my signature. We had a good run  :'( :)

I agree with Robz.  I'm not too worried about having too many people

I'd play if I think I'll have time. There's a good chance I won't though.
