It'd be neat if there was a way to just create a large flavor world with all the roles, then be able to apply them to any setup -- so I just create whatever other roles are needed for 2d3 and then the flavor would be available for both from a flavor pool.
Hmm that's a cool idea. I imagine it'll be a while before I look into it but I added it to my list.
Understandable.
I guess what I'm envisioning is a mod logs in, goes to start a new game, picks whatever standard, ranked setup they want.
On the setup page, the flavors... link is there. When they click it, they see a list of provided flavors (these would be the things we include for mods who want something other than regular but don't want to write their own). For example, Witches in the Village, Inspector Spacetime, Dracula's Castle, whatever...
They select whatever flavor they want and it is applied to their game. Basically what happens now when you choose Less Pressure, but for all games all the time.
The "creative" work is making all the flavor text for all the roles. The back-end work is allowing any game to pull from that pool of flavor text (I think).
As it is, if anyone runs Less Pressure with one of my flavors, let me know so I can see how it works.
Am I able to edit approved flavor? Probably not, right?
