Checking on a ruling with Axxle. It depends on what's done with an ambiguous rule. I have sent Axxle my COs based on what he decides will happen with that ruling.

Pacifist reveals.... a Negotiate (Crooked Deal)!

edit: Animal plays Reinforcement +2 to increase the Defense's total.

Pacifist attempts to use his power,
but Merchant Cosmic Zaps him!
However, Pacifist Card Zaps the Cosmic Zap!

Oh no! Is Pacifist going to win?
Not if Mite has anything to say about it! Mite plays Cosmic Zap.
But Pacifist uses his second Card Zap (R)!

Pacifist wins the encounter and lands his ships on Merchant B.

Pacifist wins the game!
