I tink the "it's the barn we're imagining right now, and we are imagining it to play this game" solution was awesome.

You should've jumped on it and said it was right, well done guys, awesome puzzle Ghacob did you make that up yourself, really impressive.  ;)  ;D

EDIT and of course I spelled your username wrong -.-'

gal goes into a store. she notices something, and decides to murder the clerk the next day, and carries the deed out. but the question is, dear reader, why would she do such a thing?

Because she's a psychopath.

Is at least one more person relevant to the story?

Did somebody lie to her?

Is it important why she waited until tomorrow, before killing the clerk?

Did she decide "I am going to murder the clerk the next day"?
Or did she decide "I am going to murder the clerk" the next day?

Important to the story, i.e., do we need to figure out why she killed him tomorrow and not today or the day after tomorrow?

Did she notice something about the clerk?

Did she decide such a thing because she needed time to prepare for it?
Did she decide such a thing because the murder had to happen at a specific time?

Actually, rereading your previous posts, my questions are a bit redundant.

Was the thing she noticed something about the store? The merchandise? The clerk? Herself?

Could anything else than going into the store have triggered her decision to murder the clerk?

Did she expect to gain something out of the murder? Was she trying to stop something?

Was it motivated by an emotion? Fear? Regret? Hatred? Guilt? Love? Envy?

Did she hate the clerk? Did she hate the store?

Did she destroy the store?

Was the thing she noticed about the store obvious to everyone?

Would somebody else also want to kill the clerk if they had noticed what she did?

Did the woman murder the clerk with poison?
Did the clerk cry out for help?
