Thoughts on a mass or specified claim?  It'd be good to force folks into stories beforehand.

Also, if people think I am scum because of the ridiculous tunnel vision reread of the IC, I will be happy to explain what I was thinking as town in as great of detail as needed. I am 100% certain that my narrative and true motivations will clear me.

Okay, J Reggie now:

Says there could be a pretty good case on Roadrunner very early in the game. Yeah, you guessed it, I don't like that. I think that's why I originally voted for him. His later posts however seem to indicate that he may just think differently about RR's jokes than I do. I'm more null on him now.

Sorry everybody, very busy weekend.  Ash, please don't go yuma on us!  You are very fun to play with and a great mod.  I'm only voting for you because I think you're most likely to be scum.  Although I could see myself switching to Eevee; I think he could pull this kind of stunt as scum.  I was hoping for a scummier response from Dylan after my bait post. 

But what about space?  I haven't seen much of them this game.

Mentioning a 'bait post' is a little towny maybe from someone who hasn't spent much effort on the game yet. Does disinterested scum think to lie about making bait posts? Well, maybe they still try to bait someone into saying something scummy. Slightly more likely from town I guess. Also possible he just stole the idea from Faust who mentioned a bait post before he did. Sorry for the insult if that's not true. 

Nothing else of note to me. J Reggie is super-null. Am I voting him? That seems bad

This is scummy from iguana.  Takes his vote off with a bad reason, and deflates the wagon.

For one, I was thinking of several times that I have mislynched J Reggie for behavior that seemed scummy when he turned out to be town (see Heroes mafia, which he tried to mention in his defense, for one). I also think that if you look back at what J Reggie posted BEFORE I made my big D1 reread, you won't find very much that is scum indicative. What he did after that was claim watcher. To me, that indicated we could give him a D1 pass and see whether he or Ash had results that were more likely to be true.

So when I had just read J Reggie as I was playing along, he seemed scummy but I didn't know why. When I went to look for evidence, I found less than I thought I would be able to, and that made me think that it was my bias against J Reggie that made me think he was scum.

Oh boy, time to read Faust.

Man, I'm not quoting all those statements.

Here's what I think about Faust. I think his play looks like town play. I've thought that before about him as scum. Way too big of a risk to lynch him today. So he's not on the table. So very much like Eevee, he's not really in my lynch pool today, but that doesn't mean I trust him or think he's necessarily town. And I'll be keeping my eye on him.

I do like his trying to bait people into voting Ash. I think it sucks how it resulted in Ash claiming at L-2, super duper bummer there.

His thing about Eevee playing too scummy to be scum seems likely to be right to me too. Well, unless that's scum!Faust protecting his partner. Ha.

And yeah, I don't like his vote on J Reggie any more after finishing my own reread of J Reggie.

I think it's kinda funny that you find this scummy because Faust later comes in and says essentially the exact same thing about me. And you thought Faust was scummy. So are you sure that the things you think are scum tells are actually scum tells? So far all of your scums except J Reggie have already flipped town.

FWIW, I said what I said about Faust because of three previous games: Simply Simpler, Marvel, Heroes. He played as scum in all three of those games and in all three of those games he had a big town presence that reminded me of him in this game. On general vibe, I got towny, but I knew that he could reproduce that vibe as scum and I did not trust him for it. If he was still alive, most likely I would still not trust him.

This is just me vs. Faust in general, this is not me as scum hedging.

To me, that doesn't look scummy.

I was wrong about silver. I was right about most others who have flipped.
I was wrong about Eevee's hedginess indicating he was scum. So were you.
I was wrong that Faust could be playing pro-town as scum. You were even more wrong than I was, saying he was definitely scum.
I was wrong that I was misreading J Reggie's scum tells. You weren't even interested in voting J Reggie D1, you wanted to vote Ash.
I had Jake as null, now I think he is probably town.
I had a pretty strong town read on Awaclus, and I was right.
I had a strong townread on Ash and defended his lynch when I could have put him to L-1. Turns out I was probably right about him, but you wanted to lynch him.
I had a strong townread on Roadrunner. He now looks somewhat likely to be scum with my other scum reads, Space and Dylan.

Anyway, this is all I have time for now. I will explain why I aggressively pushed silverspawn's lynch after the mass claim.

But here's the ironic thing. I pushed for silverspawn because Gkrieg didn't seem willing to go for J Reggie and I needed to get on the same lynch wagon with the IC in order to use my item.

I'll share this before a mass claim because I don't think this info would actually affect anyone's claims. I used an item last night that told me how many scum were on wagon yesterday.  There were two scum on wagon, which means 1 scum bused, J Reggie self-voted, and 1 scum was off wagon.

A thought on claims. We have a number of different naming conventions going on, and I think it's quite important to decide ahead of time what components we're claiming in a full-claim, and what might be best kept back for later verification.

1) Flavour names
2) Basic ability names.
3) Basic ability mechanics.
4) Item names.
5) Item mechanics.

1, 2 and 4 are based in the flavour, but 1 and 2 should link somehow to 3, and 4 should link somehow to 5. I have one or more pieces of evidence linking one or more ability/item names to the action(s) taken by one or more specific players one one or both of the game nights. Not that I'm trying to be vague about it or anything ;-)

I have a role that is negative utility for town. I can claim it if people want me to/think I should, but it should be easy for scum to use that information to their advantage. Also, my role has has had no effect on the game so far, except that it has had some effect on the way I have chosen to play.

On D1, my item was Star Glasses. This is the item that Dylan used N2 to see how many scum were on the lynch wagon the day before. Because I had this item, I devised the plan that I should make sure that a successful lynch occurred, and that I was on the lynch, and that the IC was on the lynch. That way, there would be only five other people on the lynch who could have a chance of being scum, and six people not on the lynch with a chance of being scum. Since Gkrieg wasn't joining the J Reggie wagon and I didn't want to lynch Ashersky, I decided to try for silverspawn.

My attempt to use the Star Glasses N1 gave no result, and the glasses were taken and replaced with French Accent, an item that allowed me to babysit a player. The item doesn't specify babysitting as a term, but what it describes is identical to babysitting. Also, Jake visited me N1.

I tried to use the French Accent on Gkrieg N2. I figured I was not getting killed N2 because of Gkrieg's whole "Iguana must be scum" argument, so no risk of killing Gkrieg by babysitting him. I thought at first that I had protected Gkrieg, but it looks like he just commuted and it was pointless. Also, Jake visited me a second time on N2.

I now have a new item tonight instead of the French accent. I think I maybe should not tell people what it is, or scum can use that information to their advantage, and I see no advantage to the town for telling everyone what I have now since I haven't even been able to use it.
