Dolan seems to have confused Gooby with a totally unrelated Disney cartoon dog.

Couldn't you just play the princess instead for an extra buy and a $2 cost reduction?

Estate is embargoed. Buying it will give you a Curse.

Edit: Imagine this hand: C/S/S/B/P. Playing Princess, you can buy Duchy and Estate, gain a Curse and end the game. Playing Butcher and trashing Princess, you can gain the Estate and still buy Duchy. It's an edge case, after all.

Maybe he can't afford to take the Curse?

What is that meme anyway?

Dating site murderer. He's harmless, but the first line makes it appear like he was a psycho. Same principle as successful black man, ordinary muslim man and such.

Want a true Dominion palindrom ? Dame Anna.
Want a really true Dominion palindrom ? "Dame Anna e mad"
(BTW, in a few days you may be able to read the start of a fiction with a girl named Anna and author named ChocophileBenj... if I'm heartful enough to go on it)

I hope you speak French ! Otherwise I hope someone is patient enough to translate all of it.
I'll do so if you want.

Chocolate is like victory points in Dominion. Both taste good but they'll hurt you if you eat too much of it instead of something else in your early days.

I'll do that sometimes, right before the game is over...

I don't have an issue with that.  It's the people who do it just because you had a good turn or they had a bad one or something but then don't resign they play on hoping to turn it around.  Either the game is over or it isn't.

I do it typically only once I'm certain that my opponent has a way of ending with a win. Once I'm certain of that, a "gg" can help as a subtle reminder that they can end the game and that I don't like sitting through long and overplayed mega-turns.

I dunno, I feel like a good proportion of the time when my opponent does this they actually don't realize that they can end the game. I don't usually feel like helping them out.

Yeah, but oftentimes they will win eventually, so I don't have any qualms about pointing it out.

I just noticed you could also trash the Silver, keep the Tokens, gain an Estate for the trashed Silver and still buy Duchy using the tokens. It's not better, but a different way to achieve it, that usually will feel more natural. I'll just claim he's going for Feodum, therefore :P

You could have just bought the 2 silvers, without having masterpiece in your deck.

Well, maybe you are playing a guardens strategy, and this way you get more cards and still have 1 buy left.

Buying Masterpiece and overpaying costs only one buy, doesn't it ?
