Regarding a mass claim: I don't think I've ever actually played a game where a D1 massclaim happened but I see how it could not be terrible here though. What is the main benefit town gets from it? Is it just that we hold people accountable and people get better information on who they should be targetting?

What I meant with 2 is that we have had town claim their roles inaccurately. Scum can always lie.

This is usually me, and it is always unintentional, and a result of clever names for PRs and not really understanding shorthand, etc. I think if there is a mass claim, this problem might be attenuated by the larger conversation.

What information are we thinking about claiming? Draft order and if we got our item in round one or two? Or more than that?

I was reading people too (which was necessary to see who was what PR) and I noticed cayvie was unbelievably towny. Which is the opposite of this game, at least now.

do you get why i don't want people to claim whether they got something in the second run, now?

people who didn't get their first pick of item know for certain two things.

1) some subset of items that are in the game

and

2) the number of players who drafted in the first/secound rounds (based on how many items are missing from the list we had to choose from).

i think, based on my info, that the answer to 2 makes it plausible that scum don't have the answer to either question. i.e., that some subset of town has setting information that scum does not. and i think it makes no sense to potentially give up that information day 1 for negligible benefit.

If at least one scum didn't get first pick, then they know what the missing items are. This seems very likely, but not guaranteed, as you said. Are you willing to gamble that scum doesn't have this information?
