Well, it's little harm done, I guess. Xerxes would not have been a top night kill priority for scum anyway.

Why is that?

Scum wants to take out strong and/or active players first. Top choices here would probably be yuma, Robz, WW, Eevee, Teproc. I would have been quite surprised to see Xerxes as an early scum kill.

I accidentally slipped my role , so might as well claim - I'm a VT.
That's slight evidence toward scum doing what I would have done.

It's never a good idea to claim VT. Sure, a perceptive mafia player would have noticed your slip, but there's really no upside in claiming, they might not have noticed it !

I do get a town vibe from XP there though.

The point was so I could say that the Mafia are less likely to have chosen many powers. Also, this way the doctor (if there is one) knows not to doctor me.

There's no Doctor in the setup. There is a Bodyguard, but okay, now scum know to shoot elsewhere for PRs. However, they probably would have anyway.

I also get a town read on Xerxes, so, whatever.

I believe I got NKd N2 in the Grimm Brothers game despite having activity even lower than mine now and having a pretty weak PR.

RMM games are different.

I think robz looks like scum. All his posts are pretty much useful information that doesn't have any bearing on anyone else's alignment. vote: robz

Doesn't everyone else pretty much qualify in this regard at this point? Why single out Robz?
Most people actually have been talking about reads. ADK thought DeDe was being forced, IG thought that analysing tone on jokes was scummy, faust thought that teproc's opening post was fake and started the poll, and ww gave minor evidence that ADK's read was reliable. You, robz, and teproc are the most active players with the least amount of content, so you get scum points. Of course lynching anti-town scum is better than active and pro-town-seeming scum, so it takes slightly more than proportionately less to lynch lurkers, and nobody has gotten so scummy thatwe must lynch them immediately.

PPE: how?

It would be awesome if I nailed the scum team there. Well, I'll have to wait for afterward.

It's weird to be in only one game.

There doesn't seem to be very much argument activity going on, so it'll be hard to get a lynch. Want to start a wagon on DeDe, Andrew, or EgorK?

This doesn't really matter for the discussion at hand, but since you asked...

In normal games, scum wants to take out the strongest player. In RMM games, scum wants to take out the player with the strongest role. (This is simplified btw)

You didn't.

It may seem like it will be hard to get a lynch going, but it won't. It just happens at some point. But sure, I'll start a wagon on DeDe.

Uhhh.... XP..... you feeling alright? You're all over the place and it's freaking me out. In no way does claiming help town at all. Nor does suggesting a wagon on Robz for being helpful. Nor does suggesting wagons on players that might seem inactive because they were asleep.

Now with all that said, tell me why I shouldn't think you're scum?

I think he has a point about active but not insightful players. For some reason, I've been having trouble getting into this game, so it seems normal to me that I get suspicion.

"Suggesting a wagon on RObz for being helpful" ? That's some nice twisting of his words there. He's saying RObz is scummy for being helpful while not having content, which is certainly behavior that scum can have at this stage of the game (theory talk makes it easy for them to do so, and we've had a lot of it this game).

In fact, I'm having a little trouble believing you're genuine in your reaction there.

I'm glad you're awake. Here's why you shouldn't think I'm scum:

-Lurker lunches and/or pressure votes happen all the time
-I thought my slip was really obvious, especially to scum looking for PRs. I didn't think the claim would hurt town at all.
-Active with little content/votes is a valid tool to look for scum

I agree, but I might be influenced by OMGUS. In order to get a lynch, more people have to vote, though, so it's safe to vote: andrew

Teproc that's a good point about posting a lot but no having any content. But look no further than XP for that.

And pretty consistent with Town XP.  Compare XMen, Greater Idea, WoT to some extent, probably others.

Maybe this is not how scum!XP played in other games but I'm more inclined to watch how he's playing here and make my decision mostly based on that.

Despite his unfortunate VT claim, I think he's actually been one of the most relevant posters so far, getting us out of theory talk into some actual scumhunting. He's easily my strongest town read right now.

I don't know if you've played many games with him or had that in mind.  I think he in particular is someone who's town meta vs. scum meta is different and detectable, so it's worth pointing out.

I'm leaning town on him based on the way he's acting.
