Wand defines as "turn", which I believe Cache is....

Or do you flip until a match is found after a modifier is revealed? In which case the Cache never happened, and we face the Behemoth.

Its the latter you flip until a match is found. Cache is skipped

So be it

Cache was a null encounter away. Everyone was alive. Cayvie misses out though. No other real change. Extra Scary Behemoth it is.. Now I've got a tough choice though.

Your weapon token allows your when looking at the top 2 to discard one instead of putting it back thus skipping the encounter for everyone, so in order to do that you would have had to discard the extra scary modifier.

Galz had extra scary and cache. He put extra scary on top. I herp derped and put extra scary on cache. What should have happened was extra ascary flipped until it got a monster which would have been behemoth but Galz had reordered those too because we treated it as extra scary cache.

In short cache didn't happen your facing an extra scary behemoth

Can someone summarize what has happened? I am confused.

Donald X. graced us with his presents, the very force of which is too great for our Universe to withstand. Upon his departure, he ripped a hole in time, causing us all to be sucked in. The Ooze departed in an oddly backwards-globby-jiggly fashion... Then we all put our 2 gold back into the Cache (Cayvie hammered her extra gold back into the wall), and we find ourselves suddenly thrown back into reality just as we came across something Extra Scary. Only this time, instead of it being a Cache of Gold, a Behemoth came barreling down the passageway (destroying the Cache in his progress), and is engaging us all in combat. If we defeat him, we may still encounter the Ooze. Who knows? I certainly can't see the future.

This isn't how it works either. I don't need you to fix it or anything, just telling you how it works.

I use Wand to leave Extra Scary followed by Cache on top. We reveal Extra Scary. It's not an encounter, so we keep going (same turn). Cache. It is an encounter, but Extra Scary doesn't modify it. Cache happens.

Next turn. I use Wand again on two new cards. Let's suppose the first one is a Slime Monster. Okay. So it's an Extra Scary Slime Monster.

Wand only works at the start of a turn - it doesn't get a chance to do anything in-between Extra Scary and the next card. Extra Scary modifies the next monster - that's what it does when you turn it over, and it can wait multiple turns until there finally is one to modify.

No it doesn't it makes it an extra scary behemoth

Crap, you might be right.

No! I still get to rearrange after the Cache! The modifier is just sitting there waiting.

So then this is correct?

A few games were finished before I knew they were here.

Galzria: I haven't looked up the context, but you can use Wand after finishing the Cache turn, yes. And whatever you put first is what Extra Scary hits, unless of course you put another non-monster on top.
