Query:  Do we accept as proven Qvist's claim that he had both Outpost and Navigator in his hand, and played them both Turn 1?

(The "Qvist might be scum" theory seems to hinge on the idea "he might have had just 1 Treasure Map in hand, not two" - is that correct?)

The theory was a lot neater if Qvist only had one Treasure Map. It would better explain how he seemed to have 5 cards as scum.

But the damning thing about Qvist, IMO, is that Dsell warned his team not to go through with "the Treasure Map plan."  Even if that was a troll, how did Dsell know there were Treasure Maps in this game at all and that they would be played? Knowing that Treasure Map is a card that creates an IC, and speculating that it can't be used on scum, what possible "treasure map plan" could a scum team have besides what Qvist did - clearing someone else, claiming bus-driving, and trying to get the town to believe the IC was scum? It all fits so neatly.

The thing is:  based on the data, I think the only card that Qvist could possibly be "faking" isn't one of his Treasure Maps.  I think the only card he could have been "faking" would be his Navigator.  By which I mean:  the Navigator is what Qvist must have selected from his first-round-draft pick (assuming he is town).

I can confirm this is true.  He definitely had a chance at both treasure maps.  Young nick will be able to confirm whether or not qvist actually drafted both.

joth, when Dsell played Masquerade on you during Night 1 and made you "pass" him a card from your hand, did he "pass" you a card from his hand?  Did he select which card was "passed" out of your hand, or did you?
