First time poster. Hi, everyone!
I've been experimenting with wacky king's court ridiculousness in solitaire recently and the following occurred to me: What is the soonest turn that you can purchase every card on the board? All kingdom cards, victory cards, treasure, etc.
A sample here:
http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201112/12/game-20111212-212952-e94f82bf.htmlNote that I didn't actually buy everything. I got bored and quit before finishing coppers and curses.
You can put whatever restrictions here you want. I was using: no trashing of cards (although I realized later I failed at this at the beginning of the game -- this becomes very relevant because, unless you can buy *everything* on one turn, the extra VPs/gold/etc really clogs up whatever engine you're using), colonies/platinum, and ofc choose your own spread of 10 kingdom cards.
I'm sure someone can come up with a better implementation of a solution than I did, but that's the challenge. Quickest buy of every card on the table.
Related question/challenge: What is the theoretical maximum number of points attainable in a final deck of cards/what's the soonest you can buy it?
