I think I did that quite poorly too. The ones I came up with were pretty obvious, and I couldn't think of anything to link Berlin, Hand and Lab.

Also, Scott, the idea of Hospital was Ambulance and Lab. Not life. But I guess that was also a very good option ^^

Oh, I was torn between life and body for that one, but lab makes sense too.  I guess we got lucky there.

I also wasn't sure if pipette was supposed to be lab or scientist, but I ended up going with lab, thinking there would have been better clues you could have given me if you were trying to get scientist and not lab.

Sorry, I feel like my clues were really awful.  Eating was supposed to be broccoli and bear (I didn't think you could possibly get anything else from that word at that point, even though bear didn't make too much sense).  Party was supposed to be dance (obviously) and bear, because for some reason I thought the party bears from Adventure Time would be a reasonable thing to think of.  At least I didn't think you could get any blue words or the assassin from it, and at that point we were behind and I had to go for increasingly far-fetched clues.

Fastener was supposed to be nail and bolt.  I felt like those were a really nice pairing, but I was having trouble finding a way to make them go together so that you wouldn't guess fix.

Ah, well, apple sauce might be a Dutch thing, as at kids parties it is sometimes served with fries, which was my association (although I was quite sure it wasn't the one you meant, but I didn't know what else I should try).

As for fastener, nail wouldn't be my first guess there. That might have been my failure to see the second meaning of nail (I only thought of nails in the sense of fingers), so that probably was my fault.

Anyway, well played team blue :)
