Bob looks up from where he's sat down to catch his breath and balance and notice's Jimmy's hurt. Coming closer he take's Jimmy's hands and starts chanting in a language you do not understand, looking up to the sky.

Jimmy's hand suddenly feels much better.

[OOC]I've adjusted the power points for Bob. He's spent 5 so far. Jimmy is all healed.[/OOC]

Pulling up alongside the coach, Grant dismounted the horse, running his hand along it's side until it came to rest just below the horses ear. Looking intently into the horses eye, Grant told him to be good and not run off again. He had no idea if the horse understood him, but when he turned to talk to Jeb the horse just pawed the ground looking... embarrassed? Ah, who could tell with these animals. "So Jeb, Bob told us that whistle we heard had something to do with... What did he call it? Metal Dragon? No, that's not quite it. Ah! Iron. Iron Dragon he said it was. Said it was stopped not too far away from here. Seems... a little bit of an odd place for a stop, wouldn't you reckon? I mean, near I can tell, we're not all that close to any major cities. Still a days ride outta Deadwood, right? So what made them stop? With the things that I've heard about this region, I'd think making town as quickly as possible would be their number one priority.

Anybody else know anything about the Iron Dragon, or who runs it?"

An exhausted appaloosa emerges from the murk. There is a man lying on the horse, he struggles to lift up his head and look around the group. He seems not to focus on anything, until his eyes lock on Bob. The horse drags itself right up to him, and a bloody battered Indian falls off the horse's neck and lands in the dust. He's been shot several times, but he manages to crawl up to Bob muttering some gibberish.

[OOC]Note: Bob understands him, but no one else. So, only spiritbears should look at the spoiler below.
Indian says: Please help us...Wovoka is in danger...white calf.

The Indian is a "wounded" extra. Meaning he's near-death but not dead. A single unpenalized healing roll will fully recover him.[/OOC]

tell me brother, what is this danger? What can you tell me? Do you mean to tell me a white buffalo calf has been born?!

Bob appeals to the spirits to heal this mysterious Indian. The bullet wounds close up on his back, and a light enters into his eyes, he coughs briefly and sits up. "Thank you, brother." He then speaks in reasonably good English to everyone, "I am called Sky Hawk by my people. I represent Wovoka, chief of the Paiutes and bringer of the Ghost Dance." Looking to Bob "And yes, he witnessed the birth of a white buffalo calf and has come to bring news of this to the wicasas." Addressing everyone, "He is in great danger. He will die if I do not bring help quickly. We were ambushed as we slept…they mean to slaughter everyone. Will you help me?"

"I'm not opposed to helping someone out, but I don't have any big love for the Paiutes, no matter what I look like. I'm certainly not going to help them out for nothing. There's $500.00 of bounty lying in that corpse over there, and that's more money than I've heard Sky Hawk offer us. Why should we be helping them out for some mumbo-jumbo prophecy?"

OOC: I actually want to go see what's going on, but you guys are going to have to convince greedy ole Jimmy that it's worth his while. This isn't the sort of thing he would leap into head first without some incentive.
