One cool Summer night, on a dark cloudy sky,
A delicate stork, with some babies, flew by.
He carried two small baby twins in his bill,
They snoozed peacefully, so quiet and still.
But an ominous figure rose out of the murk,
He was up to no good - you could tell by his smirk.
On the horizon, our sly villain loomed,
Kamek approached rapidly on his broom.
As the figure grew closer, his cackle could be heard,
And at full speed he charged right at the bird!
The stork tried to hold on, with all the strength he could muster,
But he dropped one of the babies; he just was so flustered!
Then Kamek disappeared, back into the night
Within just a moment, he'd flown out of sight.
The baby was hurtling down toward the ground,
He landed in front of the Yoshi of Brown.
The baby crawled up into Brown Yoshi's lap.
The Yoshis observed that he came with a map!
"Yoshi, Yoshi!" said the Yoshi of Blue,
Which, in Yoshi's home language, means "What should we do?"
The island was riddled with dangers, like Chomps;
Like Fuzzies and Shy Guys and big scary swamps.
The Yoshis decided since that was the case,
They'd deliver the baby in the stork's place.
So the Yoshis set out to save their little friend,
They embarked on a journey through Yoshi's Island.
