I was draft order 5.

I think revealing games is seriously a bad idea till we've got an established order and want to pin scum to any potential lies.

Scumpoints to everyone who's jumped on oversharing super-useful verification info at a point where it's potentially useful for scum to use it (cementing possible fake orders and encourating townies to post their games so the scums have more to work with) and really not at all benefitting town. Extra scumpoints to the IC for supporting this behaviour, though e himself has never seen remotely eye-to-eye with me about the correct way to conduct reveals like this.. see RMM37 and any other draft-mechanic-involving game we've both played in.

His posts feel self conscious to me, from the very beginning. Reminds me of scum!him in a previous game (no idea which).

He tends to get pretty defensive as town, which he is here. Not completely sure about as scum. I'm not sure it isn't self-constructed here though.

One other thing, though: i think every point you've made as a point against me also applies to ash.  Ash being frozen points to him being likely town, wouldn't you say? So what makes me likelier scum than him?

I thought near the start of the day that among you, WW and Ash could be scum from the way you responded to PPS. I saw towny stuff later from WW, a mix of things from Ash, and nothing from you.

I know you were busy. But the towniest thing you've said all game is 'I have weak to moderate reason to believe there are third parties.' And actually, that's more of just a likely-to-be-true statement,  not really a town indicative thing.

It's not that I was busy, as such.  It's that the vast majority of Day 1 happened in a single 17 hour period that I missed.

Mmm.  I do usually end up looking a bit self-conscious in the early game.  This is something I'm aware of but is hard to fix.  I'm town, though.


I am busy again today, but will try to do a proper reread tomorrow.

People who bid for the same RIM can't be scum of the same faction so that's weak PoE.

To me it's worth it for the weak PoE.

I'm at Haddock's today, so I'm not trying to do much in here even with phone posting for obvious reasons.

I'd like to correct Swan on his summary that says I'm against rmm claiming, though. I'm absolutely pro-claiming, but it's far more valuable to town to do so in a controlled manner only after everyone has claimed their order.

I tried to think about how scum could fakeclaim their game choice to get themselves PoE'd out but I couldn't come up with anything. Given that I think it's fine to claim your game in any order. Having an order slows down claims a lot which could backfire.

I'd rather not have everyone claim games. We may be able to use the game we bid on to challenge a claim and this discussion is seriously derailing scum hunting. Galz said he needed order claimed to make his full claim. So let everyone claim that who is willing and let's stop there for now.
