I actually have an interesting idea for a blitz mafia 2 already that involves playing dominion on isotropic/goko in pods of 4
1 PR
2 VT
1 Scum

Mafia happens in the chat during the game with everyone submitting there votes to me after via the thread where I will also resolve the night actions sent to me by PM after the game. The winner of the game of dominion gets one of two options in addition to any roles they may have.
1) Choose to 1 shot COP someone NOT in there pod.
2) Choose to 1 shot doctor someone NOT in there pod.

Once a pod gets down to size TWO (probably after one game) it will be combined with another pod of 2. To make a new pod of 4. The game ends like any regular game of mafia when the mafia are eliminated or control half of the town. The town consists of everyone playing the game, while your pods are like neighbourhoods in that town.

Thoughts?

Dibs on modding the next BM after Morgrim's. I'm calling it TBRMM - Truly Bastard Role Madness Mafia. Glooble has seen the set up (still in progress) and agrees it's pretty awesome.

Ubelievably, I, Robz888, have a mind to host a regular mafia game at some point. I have a good idea to assign roles and powers to people based on their behavior and reputations in previous games.

But since there are a million games going on, and a million games scheduled, and I like playing them, this may have to wait indefinitely.

So an early vote for Galzria to be SK/Vigilante then?

It'll be more subtle than that.

One shot SK/Vig then? Possibly with 1 shot bulletproof and a hider role that is actually a commuter role?

Funny, I was thinking the same thing!

Truthfully, my reputation is worse than reality. I don't cast my vote early - or often - anymore. I'm much more reserved.

To keep people updated about Mafia X--I will not be posting signups until at least one of the following finishes: Mafia VII, Mafia VIII, BMMM1 or RMM1. Perhaps even until 2 are done depending on how I feel.

Also, there will be no restriction on who can join, but I am going to ask that more experienced players wait a given amount of time before signing up to allow newer players a chance to join. I am hoping for at least 1/2 the players to be newbies (newbies in my language means hasn't completed a game up to that point), but perhaps that is a bit too optimistic?

If you expand "newbies" to mean "have completed no more than one game up to that point," then I think you can meet that goal.

I think completing one game might be a bit harsh, especially if some get early outs (d2 or earlier). You don't really get the feel for a full game unless you are there until the near bitter end, I'd say. So, yeah, I agree with Voltgloss.

How about whoever wants to play, but prioritize people with less experience?
