I hate you for whetting my already well-whetted appetite.

Hurry up, Android version.

I'm kinda pissed right now. Apparently they have been delaying the Android release for nearly to weeks right now, just because they want to get it out at the same time as the Iphone version.

Seriously? there's no reason for that... It's not like people own Androids and iPhones...

I'll be so mad if they push the release past Christmas because of this bullshit.

It seems they caved since Apple doesn't seem to wanna review it this year.
Android version coming out today, hope it's in time for my train journey.

Anyone up for playing online?
It's only 2,39 € until January 3rd btw, which is a really good prize for what you get.

I'm currently playing through the campaign. It works surprisingly well on such a small screen (my HTC One is not the smallest of smartphones, but it's no tablet).

I'm absolutely freaking loving it. Each game is only about 10-15 minutes long, and the pace of play is still spot on. Without having to shuffle / setup myself, it's brilliant.

The app is so well polished. I haven't figured out online yet and I've kinda just started the campaign. I keep getting sidetracked by sidequests...

I'm hosting an online game right now, if someone wants to join.
The lobby is quite empty.

Holy shit. This thrills me. And why didn't I read this thread a few days earlier? I'm going to download it today.

Quick question: How does the game fare for stop-and-go playing? Is this something that I can pull out of my pocket while waiting in line and then put away to pick back up later?

Unless you're playing a real time online game, that's perfectly possible, though you might loser some seconds for reorientating when coming back.

The campaign has some fun things to it. I was thrown off by the escort mission because I didn't realize the guy was flying alongside me. I just thought I was competing against someone else and decked myself out while laughing at his misfortune. Once I realized that the businessman wasn't actually in my ship, I was able to do it correctly.

I had a hilarious encounter on the route told to me by the sleazy guy in the bar. You knew that guns would be needed even though he told you that you they weren't, so I put some guns on my ship. Yay. I didn't realize just how many guns I needed! Got wiped out horribly. Good times. I'll do that mission again later and keep in mind that I need side-facing guns as well. And just ignore cargo space with fewer than three connectors, because I'm going to need a pretty strong infrastructure.

And the lesson there is that in campaign mode, the 1/4 of cards you cannot view ahead of time are not necessarily randomly put aside.

This is literally the best $3 I've spent, and that's only because I haven't been starving in a desert for 10 days and bought a Big Mac afterwards.

Yep. My experience with that encounter was, roughly, of course I'm going to need weapons, let's put a few on. Oh, ok, let's try a few *more* weapons. Wow, doesn't help when they get blown off by the first halfway decent encounter card. Right, screw any thoughts of stopping off at those enticing-looking planets, let's blow these guys to smithereens. The return mission for that is ... also interesting.

And this is why I love this game's campaign
Anyone encounter the cyan aliens yet?  Because I thought that was hilarious too

Yes, I had to do that damned mission four times. I kept losing to smugglers who took my batteries along with the Robber Baron. I dared not stop at any planets or have anything exposed. He talked so much about delays leading to his escape that I didn't take any chances. Anyone lose him to something other than smugglers?

I have three schematics for Class I and two for Class II. I'm wondering if they're going to incorporate the A series from the original game at some point. I'm sure they will.
