What is the coin value of Fool's Gold for tie breaking?

Our game last night came down to a tie on VP, so we started counting money. Player A had more money, but Player B had 3 Fools Gold, which may shifts the results. We couldn't find anything to decide if it counts at all, first one is 1 then the rest 4, or all count 4.
Any official rule on this, or anyone else encountered this?

EDIT: thanks for all the answers. We'll rejoice in our shared victory!

Officially the only tie-breaker is the player who has had the least number of turns. If more than one player have the highest score and the same number of turns, they "rejoice in shared victory".

Jimmmmm set out the official rule.  I don't think it makes sense to consider anything else: any rule that depends on the composition of your deck is going to favour some strategies over others, and breaks the sense that all that matters is getting more VP than your opponent by the time the game ends.  The same applies to tie breakers like "most total VP" across multiple game matches—the incentives become skewed.

If you still want to know the answer and continue playing with the house rule tiebreaker, they're all worth $4 - "If this is the first time you played a Fool's Gold this turn, this is worth $1, otherwise it's worth $4". It's not the first time you played a Fool's Gold this turn, because you're not playing any Fool's Golds, therefore they all are worth $4. Bank is worth $0. Diadem is worth $2.
