I'm sure I'm not the first person to point this out, but.... Goko quality seems to be rapidly degrading.

Now when I start games, sometimes it doesn't load me into them. Other people are having this problem as well.
Games lag terribly, much worse than ever before, and I know it's not my internet connection.
These issues seem to be chasing high skill opponents away, and it's harder and harder to even find people to play.

I had come to like Goko just fine a few months ago, but now I'm seriously missing the Isotropic days again... and I can't shake the feeling that online Dominion is headed for its end.

Same here... today has been particularly bad, but I've had hiccups all week. I don't know how they can hope to launch new versions of the game with this amount of lag and crashing.

Since I no longer have the option to log into my account (via Google, seriously the button is literally missing) I stopped playing a month ago.

This is the new version. Don't you find it adds additional complexity to the game?

Yeah, it's been kind of bad for me the last couple of days. Today I've a couple of games, and then I didn't feel like waiting for the lag spikes to settle down.

I recently won a game when my opponent got 5/2 on a Cultist board. I guess lag and opponent connection issues help for something.

Google login works for me fine.
Click green "Login" and then "Sign in with Google" (top right corner instead of password).

I'll need to post a screenshot when I get home. I can click "Login" and then, where the google option always was in the past, everything is blank.

Can confirm. Had a fishing village game just now where every action play came with a 5 second delay. Painful.

Same problems with lag then when game is supposed to start, it doesn't always start even though it says I am 'playing'.

I'm having this issue, too. It's extra bad because I'm afraid the people in my game think I'm leaving the game because I don't want to play with them.

Question: Has anyone WITHOUT the extension been having these issues? Is it possible it's a new compatibility issue with the extension?

EDIT: Nevermind, just had this happen with the extension turned off.

For the few weeks or so, I've experienced considerably more lag than before. Sometimes, I have to wait about 5 seconds after clicking something before I can do the next thing. It was particularly bad a couple of days ago, to the point where I didn't risk playing against non-bot players in case I had a disconnect or super lag spike.

Looks like one of the interns knocked the server into the fish tank again.

After failing to start ~5 games I thought I'd at least grind through some adventures. Can't even do that.

I just went on to try and play a game. Half the people in the lobby were labeled as "Unknown." Someone joined my game whose name was Test00test00. I tried to ask them if they were a real account (I'm not super interested in being part of a test), but they didn't answer. They left eventually and then someone else joined and I hit play. It said "playing," but the load screen never came up. I could click on the cards icon in the lobby next to the game and see the cards for the game I was unable to start. They left the game and I exited goko. This is ridiculous.

Nearly unplayable at the moment. I got through a few bot games, but game froze against real opponent after a couple of failed starts. I also do not have the extension.

Most everyone was labeled unknown although if I rolled my mouse over the name it would show it.

...and let us not forget that the very existence of the extension is an enduring testament to Goko's facepalm of an existence. A programmer who is not employed by Goko, sitting at home working in his free time, was able to make the playing experience on Goko twice as good by essentially hacking Goko. And he was compelled to do this because nobody at Goko has ever thought of or been able to make features like point tracking and auto-match.

...and then consider how insignificant a project the extension is compared to Isotropic...

So yeah, I'm with Robz here. Goko was slightly above tolerable for me for quite a while. It's now... less than tolerable. I haven't tried playing the past couple of days, so it's possible this is just a single hiccup, but the apparent lack of tech support, etc., suggests this is now a one-way downward slope.

The fact that I can get "GokoIsGamesThatGoNowhere" listed in every thread at the top of their so-called support forum and they don't even care to delete it is indicative of the apathy and/or incompetence behind this company. It's not even that important to me that they be perfect and fix everything ASAP, but for god's sake, at least show SOME concern for the hundreds (tens?) of paying customers.
