RMM11: A Grimm Tale
In a dusty old library, twelve friends gather around an ancient storybook. With a turn of a page, the book begins to glow brightly. In a blast of light, these twelve souls are sucked from the real world into a fairy tale.

And they decide to play a game of Mafia.

The following Rules of Mafia will be used but with these changes:


- An action may be sent N0 if your role allows it.
- Any action not sent by deadline will default to 'No Action'
- Prods will not be issued automatically
- A 'No Lynch' will occur if by deadline there is a tie for most votes


In addition, we will be using 10 Day day deadlines and 48 hour night deadlines. I may start the night early if all actions are in.

This is a Role Madness game. This means that every player in the game will have some sort of power role. As such, this game will have a heavier emphasis on roles than intense social deduction. However, players will still be able to scumhunt, make cases, etc.

Now, here's how the game will work. In addition to each player receiving a power role, they will also be given a link to a quicktopic. The first post of this messaging board will be a short passage. Some parts of this passage will be pure flavor, but others will drop tidbits of information about the game's setup. However, the passage won't come right and say what's important. It'll be written vaguely and the player can interpret the story however they wish. The rest of the quicktopic can be used to talk about the game, musing over clues in your passage, etc. All QTs will be revealed at the end of the game and up until that point will only be seen by the mod's eyes.


Setup Information:

- The game's roles will be entirely based on famous and common storybook characters from a variety of fairytales. Not just those written by the Grimm brothers.
- This game is so flavorful it's ridiculous. However, you don't have to know the fairytale beforehand to fully use the role (though I suggest you at least look it up).
- Scum will not be immediately outed if they are forced to claim.
- The Town wincon is: "You win when all threats to the Town have been eliminated".
- Don't try to outguess the mod
- This shouldn't be the first game you play on f.ds.

Banished from your house by your mother, you and your sister travel throughout the woods in hopes of someone rescuing you. Will someone pick up on your hints and help?

Each night you may target one player. You will be told the names of any and all players that player targeted that night. You will drop "breadcrumbs" on the way over to tracking them. Whenever someone targets you, they will follow your most recent trail of breadcrumbs and be told the name of the player you must recently targeted. They will not be told that you Tracked them.

Well halfway full with a whole lot of taggers. Awesome! That's much more than expected right out of the gate! Twistedarcher has looked over the game's roles, but I'll leave him tell you what he thinks of the roles.

Yes, as much as I'd love to have another person signup, I'd strongly suggest you have at least one other game under your belt before signing up. Have you had previous Mafia experience?

For a preemptive action, I've added the following rules:

- Players cannot 'No Lynch' on consecutive days.
- If there is a tie for most votes at the end of the day, a 'No Lynch' will occur.
