Same Treasures, Same Turn

How would one play the same set of supply Treasures more than once in a turn, without trashing them?

e.g. I play two Platinums.  Later that turn, I play the same Platinums, again, netting me $20 in total.

(After playing some other cards,) play Platinums; then play Horn of Plenty, gaining Mandarin, top-decking the Platinums; then play two Ventures, drawing the Platinums.

Solutions involving Black Market also exist, but the above is probably the simplest.

You do need it if you want "unbounded" sets of Treasures (i.e., the number of Ventures, Counterfeits and Mandarins bound how much you can replay independently of the number of other treasures you may have, while drawing them in hand with actions is also bounded, but with a much higher bound)

I guess technically Counterfeited Spoils would also be a simple answer. It depends on how you quantify the set of Treasures in the question.

Ack, you found a loophole!

Black Market - Counterfeit - Highway - Rogue/Graverobber would work I believe? (Except you would get net more than $20 due to Counterfeit)

That would not be "not trashing them".

For the original puzzle (before the restriction to supply treasures was added) the following would also work:

Black Market -> Spoils -> Spoils-gainer -> Spoils.

Black Market -> Spoils -> Spoils-gainer -> Spoils.

And that's why we have that restriction.  That's only the same card because of technicalities.

By the way, Soulnet's criticism of AJD's suggestion is on the right track.

I thought this was considered solved already. Ok:

Black Market; Play Treasures; Buy Mandarin from Black Market; Put Treasures Back; Play any drawing card/engine; Play Treasures again. You can even gain Mandarin from the Supply with Altar/University/Remodel Variant or with Highway/Bridge/Quarry->Workshop variant, thus enabling 10 repetitions, possibly more by clever use of KC/TR/Procession and Ambassador to get Mandarins back to the Supply.

Why didn't AJD solve this puzzle already? What is still needed?

Another question could be how often you can play a single supply treasure in one turn without trashing it. I guess that number can be very high :)
