I was playing with Black Market and Coin token cards, and no other real source of +$, and forgot that Coin tokens can't be used for Black Market.

Gold, Silver, and Copper are the most real sources of $.

I have recently noticed that I never remember that Scrying Pool is an attack when I'm making the decision that BM/Fishing Village/Jack is probably faster in this kingdom.

Anybody else who always confuses Wharf and Merchant Ship?

No.

Well, i do. They are orange, cost 5$, give +2 for two conseuctive turns, are cards... There's no difference at all.

I sometimes forget to put stuff on top of my deck cuz of scheme. Even though that's the whole reason you buy the card...

Me too, or rather, I forget that clicking the "End Actions" button means that I don't want to play any Actions this turn, not that I don't want to play the Action that I'm currently considering. "Do I want to play this Smithy? Nah, it would make these Ambassadors miss the reshuffle. Better click End Actions."

I repeatedly discard actions I want to play when I play cards who have a discard effect after another effect, such as Warehouse, Young Witch etc. Storeroom is probably the worst.

No, Hamlet is the worst. I always discard my draw cards for the +buy by accident. Other people's Vaults are bad too.

I can't tell you how many times i've screwed myself over with hamlet...  Also: Reordering cards.  I always screw up the order I want them to go back...  At least twice in a recent game, I played cartographer, then herald and drew the action, and revealed the treasure...

I actually got used to the ordering thing. But I understand your frustration.

I don't really play on goko enough to get used to anything :P  So the frustrations just kinda come back every time I play with the cards in quesiton...

I don't remember them wrong so much as I confuse them way too often... That would be Woodcutter and Workshop!!! I can't tell you the number of times I have picked up Woodcutter by accident thinking I was getting Workshop.  :-[

The most often card I forget is the card that is placed on the next page of Goko. Really frustrating at times!

I never remember to check the second page.  It's particularly annoying when it's Border Village, King's Court, Grand Market.

It doesn't help that the card on the other page will always be the most expensive card in the kingdom.

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Of course. But you still need to buy Goons cards. So cards make you win.

Hold on a second! I played a game of Dominion once where I bought cards, and I lost.

But you lost to your opponent who DID buy cards! So his cards directly led to his victory.
