I did do a little thinking, not too much. They need to be quite general, things that could apply to many games. Stuff like:

Funniest moment
Best play/action
(Worst play wooden spoon?)
Best mod
Non-Mafia gamer of the year

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

That BSG game has been the Dominion equivalent of a slog. Low distance destinations despite a human Admiral, lots of streaks of no jump prep, tons of people in the brig... an average game with a human win would have finished by now, and naturally an average Cylon win is much quicker. It's been fun, but it's also been a slog.

Edit: Who do we want to take the reins and control these awards? I said I'd be happy to do it if people suggested categories, and people have (including myself). But Grujah's made the thread so I suppose it'd be best if he runs it (if willing).
