Goko has some pretty hi-res versions of the card artwork. Much better than from scanned cards anyway.

They're all at URLs like this: http://playdominion.com/Dominion/CardBuilder/img/illustration/kingsCourt.jpg

Back in January, I did a little shell scripting and got (I believe) all the art downloaded. Guess I need to go get Guilds now, and maybe use all those images for...something.

edit: Here's where you can get the images I downloaded - https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1qTpXqWjW9sTk5NbkxiUUpjOVU

Finally i can have my Chancellor/Harem/Navigator/Baker wallpaper!

No seriously, thanks for the find. I was never able to see where each sign on Crossroads points to, and now i can. (Essen & Rio Rancho).

Look it's me!

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

'And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise." - Moroni 7:41, the Book of Mormon

Why does Walled Village have a different format?

Artist's preference I assume.  I believe the same artists were asked to do the "Ruined" versions that had done the originals.  I'm frankly impressed by the detailed perspective change between Walled Village and Ruined Village.  It's just perfect.

And it fits very well with the Carcassonne reference, too.

Abandoned mine reminds me a lot of old B&W movie Nosferatu, specifically the stairway scene. The more i look at it, the creepier it gets. I mean, obviously the mine is "abandoned", but while we see a person with a light in the background, there's this other shadow, too... Lurking... Somebody tell me i'm not seing things.

Wow.  I never really appreciated some of this art until seeing it up close.  A lot of it is truly good stuff.

I had never noticed that on Scrying Pool or on Pillage.  Wow!

That sure looks like one strange siege weapon.

That's a fortress from two different perspectives.
