A landscape chart wouldn't go amiss either so I can see what terraforms to what easily.

A landscape chart appears on your faction when you select one. For now use http://www.terra-mystica-spiel.de/en/voelker.php

Yeah, that post was before I had chosen.

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

I'll set up threads tomorrow.
For now, I'm the cultists in game 1. Remember that I now get a free power of every one declined getting power from me.

I've gone to 'Home' and 'Settings', but I can't see where to force e-mail updates on my turn. On BGO that's how I tracked my games (rather than having to constantly check a site).

The tiny nature of the buff speaks to how balanced Terra Mystica is.

I played TM a few times and would be interested in playing online, though I'm not familiar with the interface. Given my general understanding of the rules, how difficult is it to understand the online version?

I had to look up the commands quite often, but the documentation is really around the corner. The system will show you the situation created by your moves before you commit them. All in all it is very handy and I am surprised to see that only a three-digit number of games had been played there.

Not any more.

I feel like playing this again.
