Internet Explorer - repeated disconnects

This is not an issue with the Isotropic server specifically, but this is hopefully the best board for it.

When I play on Isotropic with Internet Explorer I frequently get "You've reconnected fron another browser window"

This happens so often that I can't finish a game without running out of disconnects. This problem does not happen whatsoever on Firefox.

I know I could keep using Firefox all the time but sometimes I forget! Has anyone else had this issue?

Which version of IE are you using?

IE 6.0 has horrible AJAX support and it gets better with higher versions.
You should always run the most recent version which at this point is 9 (final) or 10 (beta).

I had this with Firefox too, mostly when I have something loading in another Browser tab. You just have to reload the isotropic site and it's working again.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I'm using IE9, and the problem happens every time (so exiting an re-loading does not work).

Considering this seems to be a rare issue, I'm guessing it's something speciically related to my PC and not IE (a firewall issue or something).

Oh well, I'll just have to use Firefox!
