There are at least some choices for the Trueskill parameters that (in my experience) actually make you lose points if you play a bunch of bot games because my Goko Pro rating tanks by about ~400-600 when I play bots a bunch. Contrast with isotropish where I think playing a bunch of bots gives me a level inflation of somewhere around ~1.5-3, but I'm just guessing. At the top end you can't really exploit it for too many levels but I wouldn't be surprised if a level 40 player could get 10 or so levels out of it. I don't know how much you'd get with "good" play, I know my play against the bots it quite a bit sloppier than against humans.

Multiplayer games against the bots are a different matter as well. It's much more difficult to impose a better strategy.

Multiplayer games aren't included in isotropish.

I've never really played bot games so for, er, non-rating related reasons I thought I'd give it a go.

Defender Bot proceeds to open 5/2 for Witch.

Isotropish no longer counts bot games. This includes both the "Play Bots" mode and "pro" games played against bots in the multiplayer lobby. They still affect your Goko Pro rating, of course, but Isotropish now ignores them.  This change means your Isotropish rating will jump (or just has).

See this thread for copious discussion of this issue.

I played a game where the player just stopped playing, probably on purpose, as s/he was losing. So the game timed out and I won. This game doesn't show up in the search in the gokosalvager log search.

Then I played a game where Goko just kicked me out of the game, so I lost. This game doesn't shop up either.

I assume noen of them count for the rating.

Are both of these on purpose?

Gokosalvager's default search setting excludes games where a player quit. You need to adjust the search settings to find these games. Your first example seems to be this game: http://www.gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?20150729/log.50fd569ae4b0f82020d83fac.1438200691106.txt.

Edit: So games where a player quits do count for ratings. However, I believe that if a player is prevented from joining the game by a server error (and therefore quits), the game is not counted.

Ah, I see. Thanks. Hadn't noticed that. So both games count then, even the one where the server kicked me out, because it looks like I quit.

Are Isotropish levels still active?  All players have Iso ratings of null in the playdominion.com game rooms.

Sadly, Isotropish levels are still down which sucks because some opponents seem to have artificially inflated Goko ratings from playing bots and whatnot.

The first question would be whether game logs are still being produced.

What I really want to know is if the games we've been playing while Iso is down still count for our rankings.

It's fixed today

Sorry folks, my bad.  Obviously I'm not paying much attention to this.

Please feel free to email or PM me when the system goes down.  I hadn't realized.

http://gokosalvager.com/ is down atm :/

Sorry folks, I accidentally let the domain name expire.  I tried to renew it this evening, but the name registration service I use keeps encountering an "unknown error."  I'll try contacting their support people tomorrow.

For what it's worth, the server itself is running fine and you can still access it directly at http://192.155.80.22

The gokosalvager.com site is working pretty well for me. But the extension deleted my avatar (and won't reupload it) and isn't showing Iso rankings. Any word?

Hello, I just joined dominion league season 12. My making fun username is XD9. I noticed the isotropish leaderboard has me listed as XD9-2-.  This had something to do with a problem with GOKO and my username a while ago.  Also, Isotropish doesn't track my games since then. Was wondering if you could eradicate this XS9-2- thing from the board and get it tracking my XD9 again?

I have removed the manual name change. You are listed as XD9.
But I think your rating was correct.

Doesn't look as though the Iso leaderboard is updating.
