Trader and Embargo

This is the most unintuitive interface ever. I just played a Duchy/Duke game with Trader and Embargo, in which my opponent embargoed the Duchies and twice I bought Duchy, gaining a Curse, revealing Trader to gain Silver instead of Duchy. Obviously that is not what I wanted to do at all! When I'm being prompted to reveal Trader, it should tell me what card I would gain, so I'm not buying embargoed Silvers for $5. Ugh.

This was also unclear to me until recently but the card which you are currently gaining is the card which is highlighted on your discard pile. I asked it a few days ago here.

Trader reacts before you gain the card, so it shouldn't be in your discard pile. I believe Goko does it wrong, actually giving you the card then putting it back when you reveal the Trader, but anyway I have never noticed anything highlighted on my discard pile.

Of course all of these problems can be answered by "well, here's the obscure, non-obvious and undocumented part of the interface which would have let you do what you want", but there are so many of them, and how am I expected to learn them except by making every error possible and then complaining about it? The interface is just very badly designed.

It really bothers me that the card is physically moved to your discard pile before you have the option to reveal a Trader.

Did it do it in the right order, at least? You wouldgain the Curse before you would gain the embargoed card.

I'm often fighting the UI, especially when playing on laptop with touchpad instead of a genuine mouse.
I gave an opponent a Curse with Swindler, accidentally double clicked and bought a Curse myself.
Unfortunately, it was not a genius move and I did not end up winning that game.

Obviously I didn't do it in the right order, the first two times, or I would have had a Duchy instead of a Curse! I didn't even realise I had made the mistake until a few moves later I saw there were still 8 Duchies left... and later, I made the same mistake while buying an embargoed Estate.

I meant, did Goko do it in the right order by the rules?  Just curious.  Even if they did, their UI should still prevent this sort of confusion so it's a failing on their part anyway.

Oh! Yes, they do at least have it in the right order.

I hate how the "End Turn" button appears under the "End Actions" button. My jittery finger has more than once caused me to not buy anything.

I was really frustrated by the End Turn button yesterday while playing with Alchemist and Herbalist.  I kept thinking, "no, I don't want to end my turn.  I just want to end the buy phase". It was confusing.
