The Guilds previews have inspired me to create the following tasty kingdom:

Feast
Horn of Plenty
Baker
Butcher
Vineyard
Spice Merchant
Herbalist
Mint
Sage
Hermit

Enjoy!

Hermit is obscure!  I suggest Mandarin.  I like RTT's suggestion of Harvest, and I also submit as honourable mentions: Festival, Great Hall, Tribute, Farmland, Forager.

PPE: D'oh, ninja'd.

Mandarin's better than Horn of Plenty. I like Hermit!

Well I think French Dominion players would be just fine with that.

No, just that horse meat is popular in France.  And apparently Japan, which I did not know before.  Amazing what you can learn just from reading FDS!

Nope.  It's a dish.  Famous in northern Honshu.

I can tell you that it's not commonly eaten in North America.

I remember vividly horse sashimi on the menu in Japan... first time I'd even considered eating horse. Didn't sound bad, but raw horse?... a little too much.

Yeah, so to change the subject away from eating animals.

It doesn't look like there is much potential for an engine here.  I would have to go big money.  Maybe Hermit-BM to trash Estates while gaining Silvers?  Or maybe I would take a 5/3 opening to get Butcher/Silver and use Butcher to upgrade Estates into Silver while netting a coin token.  Butcher gives me some flexibility to turn treasures into points later.

What about Vineyards? Hermit can gain Sages and Herbalists pumping up Vineyards to be worth lots of points. Well, actually, Butcher is good there too, he can Butcher coppers into Herbalists and Estates into Sages. It would be a slog.
